this isnt going to come out right, but im just going to type whatever way it comes out
the type of degree you hold doesnt really hold that much value, unless you really utilize it. im not saying that it isnt important, education is important, but its really what you do with it that holds relevance.
i know two people who graduated summa cum laude or cum laude. you couldn't really tell by the way they live, they live very mediocre lives. they aren't filthy rich, but they aren't dirt poor either. one published books and went on and furthered his/her education, but never held a job, and pretty much died with no work experience living at home with their parents
the other owned their own business in a small town. she wasn't this CEO of a major company. she didn't live lavishly. she wasnt filthy rich. she lives very humble. her sister on the other hand, dropped out of high school and married a rich man.
so the degree you hold really just states how much education you have, but it doesn't really measure your success. it's all about your willingness to go out there and just do something with your life.
hell look at bill gates. that mofo didnt get his degree until after he became one of the worlds richest people. Jayz was snubbed for having a lack of education by NFLPA [he doesnt have a negree] and that mofo is a million dollar mogul.

High school grad here and make enough to pay a mortgage, a car payment, my other living expenses and my shopping addiction. /shrug
This is laughable. Are you trying to justify any lack of an ability of follow through? You use extreme examples to validate your thesis. Try using actual data instead of presumed assumptions.
In our modern economy you need the resources of many different disciplines to achieve the slightest of successes. It is the assembly of professionals and a cohesive plan to succeed. Even then sucess is fleeting.

MV she didnt say that you shouldn't have a degree but that it in and of itself is not a determining factor of an individual's success with a degree in hand...i

Welcome to a modern economy. As I said before...
Get used to it.
It seems school systems around the world is shitty not just in the US lol.
Not really. In other countries kids know the history and geographic location of the whole world by 4th grade. They know mathematics inside and out by junior high. They are leaps and bounds better then us.
Our education system is the worst, because we spend lots of money on it, but the ROI isn't that great, just like our healthcare system.

Might as well take the classes to finish the electrical engineering as well while you're at in. Why not? You're that close, go ahead and get two degrees. Won't ever hold you back. 🙂click to expand

Hey DUM DUM MIAMIVirgo. You said you graduated in Economics. Ya mkay.
Definition of 'Return On Investment - ROI'
