What's Your Compatibility Percentage?

The past few days I've been trying to learn more about aspects. Make a long story short, I began to take a closer look at compatibility charts and what I realized is that you can actually calculate the probability of your relationship's success. It's not a proof but I wondered how accurate everyone else's compatibility has been in the past. Here's what you need to do....

Step 1: Calculate Compatibility


Step 2: Get your Compatibility Chart for you and your Lover. I'm posting mine for my aqua and leo respectively.


Step 3. Next, you have 3 values that are important. I'm going to OVER-explain it below but in essence, you just need to divide two numbers to get your % . Step 3 is more to explain how I came to my conclusion...my proof. Yes, I am a dork but I could be wrong about this so if someone wants to check my process, go for it 😛 For most of you though....

STEP 3 Continued...

The number in the GREEN BOX represents your TOTAL number of available POSITIVE compatibility POINTS.
1100 for the Aqua.
231 for the Leo.




The number in the YELLOW BOX is your orb value which will invariably be negative.
It calculates the number of degrees to which two particular planets do not align.
So the YELLOW BOX represents your TOTAL number of NEGATIVE compatibility POINTS.
-209 for the Aqua.
-737 for the Leo.




The number in the RED BOX is your TOTAL POINTS after subtracting your NEGATIVE POINTS from your POSITIVE POINTS.
GREEN BOX - YELLOW BOX = RED BOX
Keep in mind, the Red Box might actually be negative.
My RED BOX for the Leo is a negative 737.




The calculations for the aqua and leo are below. These come directly from the two charts. No math has been done yet.
THE AQUA
1100 - 209 = 891THE LEO
231 - 737 = -506

If the Green Box is Positive ---- RED BOX / GREEN BOX = +%
If the Green Box is Negative ---- GREEN BOX / RED BOX = -%

THE AQUA
891/1100 = 0.81 or 81% Compatibility THE LEO
231/-506 = 0.4565 or -46% Compatibility

But I compared my compatibility with like everyone I know on that site & oddly enough the more compatible I was supposed to be with someone, the more confusing our relationship was...

The aqua and I broke up in 2002. We have remained friends since then. We still call each other on occasion. I forgot his bday this year, the first time since we've met. He called me a week or so later, didn't say anything other than he was checking on me. It immediately dawned on me that I'd forgotten his bday. He actually noticed 🙂

To this day we would make an "ok" couple.

The sex was amazing but it ends there. Outside the bedroom it was as if we were unable to function. We could communicate but something was always "off."



If I'm doing this correctly, you should be able to do compatibility charts for your lovers and you should find that your more successful unions should have a higher compatibility percentage. At least that's my theory.

The first number = GREEN BOX
The second number = YELLOW BOX

when i put his birthday first we're only 45.68% compatable. im the weakest link 😭

and this didn't require us to type in birth time. gemini is on the cusp for his moon and mercury so those are both different than using the noon default because he was born very last at night

it can't and doesn't take into account ascendants and other aspects of your chart. so you'd have to get a full compatibility report and maybe it's included in those? or do a composite chart. i forget the link to the site i use for that. i think those ask you for birth time so you'd get a more accurate % by going that right.

obtaining the birth time was tricky. i used to harrass gemini to find out the time but he didn't care haha. then i had to get a passport and he had to renew his (and didnt want to turn in the old one so he reported it lost and applied for a new one) so he had to get his birth certificate from his dad.

I got one off that site fine but it only seems to give me the chart wheels and I'm too dense when it comes to astrology to read the aspects from that.

The guy was a douche though, still is actually. Serial cheat. Keeps trying to contact me to this day despite now being with someone else. Ugh.

i dont think anybody said it dictated compatability. it can certainly give you a good idea of where your strengths and weaknesses are though

i used cafeastrology. but i pulled a birth chart and then when my chart information came up, you scroll all the way to the bottom and theres a link that says "add a second person - compatability" so then you type in that person's birthday and time of birth

if i include birth times using i luv ewe's method, our compatibility increases to 72.8% .

well i dont know their birth times but i tried some random times.

the aqua and i actually decrease in compatibility when i add birth time...up to 10 or more % points

the pisces and i actually increase in compatibility no matter what time i add. so we might be closer to 75-85% 🙂

I finally had time to do this...at work 😛

Me & my Libra have 78% with birth times, compared to 88% without.
We are seriously not that compatible, we fight like cats and dogs (and that's what it sounds like too, the pitches in our voices are perfect,) but we complement each other in a lot of ways. We make a good team. & we genuinely like one another and feel the need to be around each other as much as possible. We have a hard time letting go one another.


Me & the Leo (the one I bitch about from time to time) have 98% with birth times, compared to 96% without.
Felt intense chemistry with him, love at first sight type of shit...but it was over before it even started. He confuses and frustrates me. He doesn't pay enough attention to me for what I'm used to. I think we both hate being the initiator/pursuer so it causes problems.


So my theory: almost perfect compatibility does not mean what it should mean!

no birth time = 81% compatibility which surprised me and didn't. like, i know we're compatible but i didn't feel like it was THAT strong.

with birth time = 65% compatibility. lower than i would expect but about right.

Wow! This surprises me! This is the chart for the Capricorn actor I am dating (just starting out)and we have already had a minor "discussion" over a misunderstanding at one time although we did get it resolved fast.
