you can see the big island in the ariel shot its called mutton bird island
Gawd, that's GORGEOUS!
Haha. That's funny. There's nothing really save peoples homes ( no ), old postcards from turn of the century with the towns name ( another no ) and the lake nearby. Well. Population 600, no stop sign, one main street. Houses from early 1900s. Extending outward is farm land and country.
I'll be in the forested part DP, way away from the city. So exciting I am. Nature girl. Maybe a quick dash to the city with someone in tow, then back to the cabin with me. π
Beautiful!
Oooh I like it. A thread dedicated π
Travel ideas
Yep, Sea π
I wish we had mountains here. π’ That's the only thing missing really
Nice MsP π, thought the thought of NY scares the CRAP out of me, I always thought it would be nice to visit, soak up the energy.
π And likewise, the thought of living in a place where you live scares the crap outta me too. Too much quiet is incredibly scary. Nothing is more comforting than the sound of car stereos, trains passing, and crackheads arguing outside at 3am, after you've visited the middle of nowhere for a weekend π
My favorite part of the City is the Upper West Side.
LOL I can see you MsP. "Omigawd, what was that?!", "Those are called peepers MsP." π
Ohhhh pretty amethyst, the mountains!
I've seen so many amazing culinary shows where NYC was the hub, it looks amazing, but I am really such a rube at heart. I think the crush of people, all the noise and so on would make me schizo. But yes, I'd love to visit and soak it up.

game 7 was hardly a win like game 6 VH...that hardly gives them the sucky title π But because it's an all-time rivalry...I'll cut you, some slack. Until next year...
I'll concede to your point. I practically had a death grip on my beer the entire 2nd half of game 7. It certainly was far from the beat down we gave in game 6.
One thing I am stoked about... RIVALRY RENEWED!!!! Lets do again next year.
Shaks!
Absolutely gorgeous, man. Keep sharing!

Huntington! I go there all the time. I'm also partial to Balboa/Newport.
Local style ! Nice π
Yea I was in Newport for a bit this weekend. Couldn't help but be outside
In the lower right hand corner.. that bi-level building? That's Michael's... owned by my Libra's best friend's family, and one of our favorite hang outs π

It's the accent!! I knew a woman from Queensland, and her daughter's name was Natasha. She called her Tasha, but when she SAID her name, whether Natasha or Tasha, the "a" came out more like "er".. Natasher or Tasher.. swear to God lol I thought it was adorable, but she HATED her own Aussie accent π±
I couldn't stop laughing. I doubt she knew why.
But it sounded like she was calling me bananerr π
I posted coastal pictures already, here are some inland and landmarks:
(what a lot of Florida looks like.)

Wow, that tree is amazing, Bri!
Ruining everyone's beach day. :/ I hate those little fuckers. They squawk all. day. !
No problem MsP, LOL You could watch me duck and cover because someone was getting out a wallet and I thought I might be shanked! π
hahaha
Lol he's always flirting with me π
I do love animals...except those things are spawns...
They shit everywhere and step in it and spread it all over the beach and fight with each other and try to weasel their ways closer and closer to you to see if you have any chips to steal. One had the nerve to land on my beach mat. YEAH RIGHT. I'll snap a birds neck
Close enough, this is about 10 minutes away from where I live. π
Aw it's presh π
That would be excellent Shaka, and if you don't mind. The porch needs mending. π
Omg let's do itttttt.
VB break out the quilts

I'm pretty sure that's upstate NY. Those mountains and gorgeous houses are a dead give away. Are those one family homes, Trifles? I know a lot of those kinds of houses have turned into two and three family homes/rooms for rent/ nowadays, although, from the look of it, its probably a middle-upper class neighborhood, so perhaps they still are one family homes.
+1 on that waterfall. Romantic π
I am in love with Colorado. It is so breathtakingly beautiful.
ahhhh portland is one of my fave cities. i would move to the pacific northwest in a heartbeat
im kinda bored of where i live. i just googled the city and all these really great pictures make it look so awesome but it's only meh. im ready for a change

you're right. it is upstate. yeah, they're one-family homes. oddly, it's rare to find 2/3 family homes in the city. on the outskirts and surrounding areas it's more common. i'd expect it to be the other way around due to higher population density within the actual city and more demand for real estate...but apparently there are other factors at work here. π
the geography, terrain, and some architecture of this area are very similar to certain regions of vermont, so i get the inference. very "new england", even though we're technically not.
Not a very original idea for a thread (cause this one happens at least once every year on dxp) but here we go:
Leiden, The Netherlands.
its official...im coming to visit you shaks! it's so pretty
thats the city... the rest is just corn and bean fields..
no mountains. are you from the middle?

I got this idea from seavixen so google copy and paste the place u live.
if you divide the pic into 6 squares the top third square in its lower left hand corner is around where i live.
on the right side on the other side of that mountain russel crowe lives and u can see his black chopper fly over to the air port which is in the bottom right hand corner of the top first square lol posh bastard!
