I do.
I live in the south (U.S.), so it's pretty warm most
of the year-- Winter is a relief.
And though it does dip below freezing a few times,
it's rare... I don't think we've had snow since
like... 1989.
🙂
I love winter and snow, despite of the frigidness. I wanna wear my fur coat (fake), and wanna see Christmas trees, decorations on the street etc.
Same. I hate heat. I love wearing sweaters and comfy clothes. And crisp air, yay 🙂
my fav season
For me ... it's not that I love winter, rather, I hate summer.
One thing I do love is in the dead cold of winter, just when you think the earth must be dead, and despair starts to set in .... you find little green tips poking out of the ground and you know that soon a beautiful crocus will be emerging, reminding you that Earth had merely been rejuvenating herself.
Winter is like a deep sleep ..... justs makes me want to cuddle up with Her, waiting to be awoken with a new vigor
I enjoy the winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, and it's quite beautiful to look at
I do love that the earth a live ... I wish more people loved that.
Favorite season! The crisp air, the smell in the air, depending on place you live. I would sit in fields of snow for days if I wouldn't freeze to death! Just the purity & beauty of nature in all it's glory is awe inspiring. Fall is right behind it, love the colors, so vibrant.

Last winter The South froze over. Our "light dusting" weather prediction caused chaos.
I'm not a cold weather fan but I adapt. It's necessary. Earth gets a nap too.
Also was keeping positive that the freezes would kill the mean ass biting bugs that chew me up in the summer. No such luck!

Yeah. I've determined that that must be a myth.

Although I don't like it quite as much as I used to (I am 56 now) I have always thought that summer was overrated and winter underrated. The three things I probably hate the most are heat (well, humid heat anyway), crowds and excessive noise and in summer it can be hard to escape from these things. I love the mystery and silence of winter, its dignity and the way it seems to challenge you. In summer all you seem to get is anti-social morons shouting and screaming and getting drunk and throwing up etc. It sucks. Obviously I do enjoy sunshine but you do get sunshine in winter as well (not just in summer) and that's what I like the most (winter sunshine).
