Are not smiling in their display pictures/icons? You guys look pissed off or about to devour someone -- possibly a baby. I dunno.

Because I like arms and hammers, duh. I do have pictures, and can you believe it, I smile. SHOCK! It's this thing where you open your mouth on both sides and then bear a little teeth. It's quite endearing, some of you should try it.

Oh there's this study out now that people who didn't really smile in pictures when they were kids have an insanely high divorce rate.

I wonder what this says about our grandparents and great grandparents...haha No one smiled in pictures back then and no one got divorced! (I know it was frowned upon back then...)

Well you never know...smiling IS a big sign of optimism and usually pessimists don't do great in relationships. However, you would figure current pictures would be more indicative of how your relationship goes, if you were going to go off of pictures in the first place!

A smile on the mouth can mean anything and nothing and can be used to deceit.

There are other definite ways to know if one is truely smiling.

I squint when I smile. It's so annoying. Like I can't not squint :/

Nah I think it is like taking a yearbook or military photo, you don't want to look goofy so you just don't smile. Or you have wookie/crocodile teeth that are so stained they look like scat from a cat 😄

I've been to South and North Jersey and I will say that it's the South Jersey people that think orange, fist pumping, and spiky greasy hair is cool. I want to throw away all the bronzing creams in the world because of these people.
