i just watched this movie for the first time, i didnt read the books though, i heard shes actually a poor writer.
I didnt get the gemini vibe from him, he seemed like a virgo to me.
Hed rather stay home and work than to go out, he wanted to take care of Anastasia, shower her with gifts and always make sure shes okay, seemed very motherly.. like a virgo.

i have no idea what she is, judging from the first movie, it hard to determine her true personality. she was too timid.

i literally threw up after watching the movie. like, a few minutes after it ended, I ran to the toilet. my partner started feeling nauseous as well.

There is only one condition I have for watching it, and it will be with my boyfriend and we are going to record ourselves ripping the shit out of it and uploading our commentary to YouTube. Not sure when we will do this though, if at all. Have to both be in the mood at the same time to waste our time watching it first.

I didn't see the movie. I only read the first book. I'm not sure what people are comparing about. What did they expect? Jane Austenesque level of writing? The book served its purpose perfectly: popcorn literary pornography. I think that most people that try to overanalyze and intellectualize their criticism of the book are trying to coverup the fact that they read the book in feigned indignance.

Gem wants me to watch it.

I never finished the book but from all the bad rap that's been floating around I am reluctant to finish it or watch the thing.

The book didn’t serves its purpose, imo. Ain’t nobody expecting Jane Austen outta these books, but if people wanted to maintain an intellectual “image”, they wouldn’t even bother to admit having read them.

Let’s be honest, who picked up that book (or watched the movie) without the expectation of raunchy sex, particularly in the dom/sub fashion?

I went in with the expectation of a lot of fluff as well, as far as story and writing style, so that’s not my gripe. But with all the fucking hype, I expected more as far as the dom/sub stuff went. Other than that, I had zero expectations from it.

Let me have some morning raunchy sex novels with my tea and crumpets.

Still waiting for the 50 Shades of Gay pr0n spoof.
