I think the last scene of The Last Samuri is pretty bad ass.
Where after being beaten and broken from the war of swords against guns to present the emperor the man who's army he fought against with the sword of the last official samuri of Japan... to honor his memory. Great story of how a man who cannot forgive himself, hates the world, and doesn't believe in anything finds himself again.
When the emperor speaks in this scene it is the first time he has spoken the entire movie AND he chooses to speak in English.

Mhm... Al Pacino was simply extraordinary in Scent of a Woman. You don't know when his acting is better. When he speaks or when he's completely quiet. I think that scene in particular made me fall in love with tango as a dance.

There are so many to choose from, most of which can't even be found on TubeCount "due to copyright infrigement". I really like Indian Runner (1991), it has some solid performances and it's written and directed by Sean Penn , a fellow Leo w/ Cancer Moon.

It has some major Cancer moon moments in it, lol !

Louis Cyphere: No matter how cleverly you sneak up on a mirror, your reflection always looks you straight in the eye.

"Angel Heart" is one of those movies I saw in my teens that creeped me out more than any "traditionl" horror movie could. Film-noir meets Dante's inferno & Mickey Rourke does the best performance of his career imo (well, apart from "Wild Orchid" 😛 )

Oi guys, can anyone help me out here? Ever since it came out last spring I've wanted to see this French film - Le temps de L'aventure, or Just a Sigh, as they translated it. Starring Emmanuelle Devos & Gabriel Byrne. Can't find it anywhere though, to see, buy, download, anything. Does anyone know a good site with a big library of movies to watch where I could have a good chance of finding this gem?

***** SPOILER ON "LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL" **************

I love the end scene of "Life is Beautiful" where the little boy is reunited with his mother after the Americans liberate the camp they were all detained in.

I also love this:

"Here's the twist. We find out that the killer really suffers from multiple personality disorder.
He's actually really the cop AND the girl. All them are him! Isn't that fucked up?

Literally ROFL'd first time I saw it! 😄

Absurdist, British allegory "on life the capitalist society". I grew up with this kinda stuff.

Did NOT expect this when I saw it the first time!
