I was absolutely stunned when I heard he passed. I grew up on a lot of those movies.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles i just watched again last week. It is sad, talented guy, for sure ..

Hey all...I'm so sad about the death of John Hughes. What a legend for all of us who grew up in the 80's.
There's still nothing better than the scene in 16 candles when Jake comes to see Samantha at the church and then they kiss on the table. Damn...I still love you Jake Ryan!!!
You will be missed John. Thanks for giving us great movies that will always be classics:
