Festivals!

So this is where I will be tomorrow and Sunday, bit gutted at missing today (Friday) as wanted to see Florence and The Machine, but hey ho still have two days of festival to enjoy!



Any other festival goers out there?

This will be my 10th year at T, next year I really want to do Glastonbury and I would LOVE to go to Coachella but it's a tad far away for me lol.

T btw stands for T in the Park one of the biggest music festivals in the UK, for you non-Brit people!

T was awesome! Suffering for it though, it rained all day Saturday and I now have the cold lol. Worth it though!

Chance it's a British festival so here our own bands take precedence over American acts, no matter how big. Although Eminem headlined on the Saturday over Stereophonics, but I think he refused to play the festival unless he was a headline act. He was late on stage and no-one at home could watch his performance live (BBC always show live coverage) because his management refused to allow it, no doubt so they can include his performance on a live DVD and make money out of it. Green Day did that a few years ago and those are the only acts I've seen to do that.

I'm friendly with a guy from one of the smaller, lesser known bands who played on the Saturday but stayed for the weekend. They ended up watching some of the world cup final with Jay-Z backstage last night, said he was the nicest, most down to earth guys they'd ever met!

Mumford and Sons were out of this world live, one of the best performances I've ever seen.

DP my mates and I are all going to do Glasto next year. We're going to hire a couple of campervans and drive down for the weekend, I can't wait! Festivals are awesome! 🙂
