Lady Gaga's so deep

I used to think she was a manufactured plastic doll, but then her songs got me smitten. I could listen to them forever, plus, they're so deep, so cryptic, intricate, with "haute couture" clothes and decor..

The bimbotic facade hides a very mysterious mind.

And she writes her own songs.

Sun Aries, Moon Scorpio, Mercury Pisces, Mars Capricorn

Meh.

Oh, I used to think that way, until I decided to do some googling (on her personal history, etc).

I think she captures alot of things in very few words, plus very many references to symbolisms. It is not easy to catch at first glance.
I am not here to defend her, etc.

But her songs, although highly futuristic - which can seem fake - are very much of the times, and does capture the here and now.

My faves: Bad Romance and Paparazzi.

Oh, but feel free to thrash or dislike her

I am just really liking her music videos, that's all. Plus, I liked how she climbed up all by herself from obscurity. And her strategic use of diamonds.

And you can see she's always killing her male lead at the end. It shows her shitty love life and she's not abashed to show it.

Her vids are an excellent blend of planetary symbolisms - a full bowl even.

Aquarius ( for the futurism)
Leo (High Drama)
Libra (Romance)
Pisces (Whimsicalism & stoning)
Scorpio (Death and revenge)

She brings a modernist twist to Alice in wonderlandism, plus a bit of gore and twistedness.

A great big mix of all. That's why its so intriguing. Not many MTVs capture them so nicely.

She's a little out there. But I like her. Just wish she wouldn't try so hard sometimes.

I do agree she tries hard.
I just don't like her posture.

I liked that. It's like a weirdish encore. Plus her innocent look.

Her video makes death look like it's futuristic. And gives a different spin to revenge.

I didnt buy into the hype when she really hit the scene (yeah, I know shes been out for a while..), but I heard her vocals for the first time on Kid Cudi's "poke her face". Then I saw where she sang "Poker Face" a capella and while she does have a great voice, I'm not into her music at all. I just cant really get into it. Just like that corny Drake rapper..

1. did gaga have some work done on her face? i seriously think she looks way better there lol. the change is subtle though

i actually thought it was lady gaga who looks like she's getting really thin. i mean she's always been thin but she looks moreso in that vid.

Not a fan of Gaga, but I understand her appeal to audiences. Which is "Gee, I've had a rough day, and really dont want to think right now, just need something to hum along with."

My only issue with her is the songs get beaten down real quick. I hear them all the time going out to bars and clubs. And at least after the 2nd or 3rd listen of a song, I'm already sick of it.

But to be fair, she is a hell of a lot better than having to endure the mediocrity which is Coldplay.

I think she's a very strong women, I personally like how open she is with her sexuality (if it's not just for show) I also really think she acts her age which is important and she seems to be a good business women, talented? Eh probably not so much but songs get stuck in the head which is what counts these days right?🙂

Beyonce is annoying because she will not take a break. I'm tired of seeing her. I like Lady Gaga music though even though it's about drugs, sex, fame, nightlife, etc.

I used to hate her, plus the name Gaga is the most repulsive name I've ever heard. And she looked like her head was fixed unto a different body (short neck and weird hunchback). But then I watched her MTVs and read some tidbits and I thought it was pretty impressive.

Plus most gay men love her or her songs, you can't go very wrong.

I still love her songs though, they let me work my symbolic imagination. Plus, I love th bling bling and dramatics.. but only in reel life videos. There isn't one as good as this one, at least the effort and dynamics involved.

She is by far my favorite artist. I'm hooked on the song "Monster"

Lady GaGa is amazing in my opinion. She is an Aries sun and Scorp Moon, it's funny because before I knew what her sun and moon sign was when I watched her extremely crazy and intense deep music videos and her songs I always had this weird look into what kind of goes onto my head. Then I figured that out, and I was like ahh.. shes just one of those crazy Mars chicks like me 🙂
