What part of your chart do you think influences your taste in music?
I know some of it comes from your environment - what music you were raised around - what generation you're from, etc. But, I've always had a very mature taste in music, especially as a child - I wasn't into pop like other kids my age, I liked acoustic, deep lyrics.
So there has to be some other kind of influence...
I dunno... maybe just talk about the music we like and how it relates to our sign.
I like a lot of different types (hip hop, soul, rock, blues, jazz), but in general I have a strong preference for music with jazzy, soulful and psychedelic sounds. I guess it make sense considering the pisces sign's tendencies towards fantasies and escapism.
i like so many different genres, sub-genres, fusions of music that i couldn't possibly begin to list them all. i don't know if my sign has anything to do with it. i was raised around pretty much everything with all the different ppl in my life. my mom listened to a lot of 70's-80's pop (let's just say she's a top 40's whatever-is-in-at-the-moment kinda lover), my grandparents on mom's side listened to johnny cash, elvis, patsy cline, buncha country, my cousins listened to the likes of hair metal/heavy metal/death metal and hip-hop. i had influences all around me.
i remember when i was 5 and i loved michael jackson. one of my cousins was babysitting me and literally made me sit down and listen to a guns'n'roses and black sabbath album cuz she hated him. i loved it too!
i categorized myself for many years as a child. as a little kid i mostly loved boy bands and pretty stuff. then when i was 10 i started listening to a LOT of hip-hop/rap from the early 90's variety. when i was 11 i was turned on to grunge and alternative rock. i reverted back to a hip-hop/rap stage at age 14. then at 15 i got into my local music scene which revolved around punk and all its forms. at 17 i started listening to loads of electronic music and did the raver thing for a while. finally when i was 19 i got my head outta my ass and realized that i fucking loved just about everything as long as it was done well!
