I found this by accident when sample digging! It's pretty evocative when you read the track names along with the songs; I especially like The Lady in the Moon (24:24).

Not exactly in the fusion category but jazz nonetheless and one of my all time favorite jazz song I can't seem to stop listening to.
Beautiful track that takes me back to the 80s.

Ok now this is good I'm with funk jazz 100. BUT...it would be nice to hear him play something solo. I'd like to hear what kind of skills he has on his instrument soloing wise. Whatever instrument he frequents. I always knew Geminis got talents.

Prince played a lot of instruments, he's the one playing keyboard in this video I posted, I think.
He composed an incredible number of songs for many artists in the 80s/90s, you wouldn't even suspect some of other artists' successful songs were from him

Very nice, I love tears for fears and this jazz cover is great.
Prince was composing so many songs that he had to set up other bands because his own band couldn't play all the songs he made. Artists like Sheila E, vanity6, morris day & the Time, the family, etc, etc..all part of prince' school, you can tell by their look and sound too. The guy was a real monster and people tend to overlook his influence on pop music because it's hidden.
