I'm not a Metal fan but check out "Black Crown Initiate" they're album, "The Wreckage of Stars" just came out a couple of months back.
They're getting top reviews everywhere and ranked 12th in last weeks Metal Insider Power Rankings - I know they're on tour with some known names, but I don't know anything about the bands. They just finished up a tour with Rivers of Nihil and are currently on tour with Crowbar until the end of the year and they will start the year out with Voivod and Napalm Death then they'll move on to playing with Exhumed and Iron Reagan.

Don't know how to load music onto here but possibly my favourite metal song (maybe favourite song altogether) is "Frozen Rainbow" by Saxon.
Great music to march to when I take the streets tomorrow in NYC to protest the police state.

I'm not sure what genre I'd classify Rage in but it's metal to me...and I crank as loud as possible
Awwwww I fucking love Rage against the Machine. You pretty much just gave me an early Christmas happiness. Yes Rage is metal. Love em. Shame they broke up though and haven't made another album. @Vixen2

Super Collider is so catchy and Forget to Remember . I really liked 80% of this album which is a win for me
