I agree, totally. Asking for a friend, and made me wonder. I'm a huge music lover but not so much in that style , so curious to your responses.

I guess Eminem and Rihanna is one too.

Yea, i cringe when people ask me this question tbh. Most mainstreaming rap with pop figures are so commercial, and I don't really like most of it.

It's like seeing country artists with rappers now. I cringe at that too. lol

I don't like the mix.

For example I love some of the songs pharell wrote for robin thicke, but when he starts raping in it, it is cringe inducing, really takes the song down

R&B was pop at one point so I don't know if you want to count all of those great collabs
