Anything INFJ

Couldn't find an INFJ thread, so thought I'd start one. Would love to hear how you all experience being an INFJ.

"Change is inevitable. INFJs have a tough time accepting the change. This is often considered as being stubborn. We tend to plan things way too much into future. We see things till the end of times. But not everything happens as planned. This obviously makes all the planning futile. Accepting this situation becomes uneasy and the mind becomes restless. Facing the reality does take time. When I took the test I was placed in the INFJ personality, and I find it to be pretty accurate. Especially the intuitive part. With time I´ve also gained more faith in my instincts and intuitions.

I couldn't live without my intuition. I've been reading up on it and apparently its our strongest quality. Glad you're owning it.

Yes, I deem it my strongest quality too, but shush, we’re also a little secretive. 😉



I also define a lot with the description of appearing gentle and maybe a little shy, but has a rich inner life and then often surprise others with my intensity.

And how important growth of consciousness is for me.

Apparently Carl Jung himself also had the INFJ personality.

I'm INFJ. I've done several tests including the long paid one. Reading about what it means to be INFJ fits me better than my astrology chart in many ways.

Rich inner life for sure. Imagination is one of my favourite words because it's very important to me.

I sometimes think I'm best off romantically with a fellow INFJ given what I seem to be drawn to, but who knows. Not many people I've been close to have taken the test. But, one of my best friendships of all time was with an INFJ and it was so easy to understand each other -- we could be as weird as we truly are, lol.

I know what you mean by the rich inner life. I think I would crack without my inner world. Thanks for using the word "weird," because now I don't have to feel so weird for thinking I'm weird. LMAO..

I would crack too! That's part of the reason why imagination is so important to me. I can create things with my imagination that give me a break from stress, help me solve problems, and/or offer entertainment for fun just like reading or watching works of fiction by other people can (books, film, etc).

I'm glad that you relate to being "weird". :-) It's a good kind of weird to be, IMO. Some people don't understand it, so that can be frustrating, but I never wish that I wasn't weird like this. lol

I would crack too! That's part of the reason why imagination is so important to me.
