No, not overly and I'm a lunar Cancer.
I find it quite easy to put my feelings in check, while at the same time, I'm able to feel compassion and empathy for/when it's needed, warranted.
The typical Fish has a victim mentality and believes everyone/everything is against them, and that is usually the cause for Pisces to believe that they are overly sensitive .... because they can't get past the fact that people aren't purposely trying to target them to hurt their feelings.

Sensitive is relative. My immediate family thinks I'm sensitive, but they're all virgos and Capricorns. Everyone else finds me normal, maybe even a little detached.
Well I don't actually show it lol no one would ever call me sensitive.

lol, i have learned to just let go. it makes you an anxious mess, otherwise.you have to learn to be a little 'cold'

I am not overly sensitive. In fact, sometimes I think I am too cold and non-caring. I think it is my Venus in Capricorn and Saturn trine ASC and Moon opp. Uranus.
I never let anyone see my sensitive side, maybe that's to do with my Leo pride.

From what I've been reading up I've decided I hate my Libra moon haha.
I come off as a strong confident person and I don't take shit off anyone and won't see anyone else being treated badly either so no one would have me down as the sensitive type. Maybe I'm not as sensitive as I think I am.
If someone's hurt my feelings cold is what they get haha

for example, when someone doesn't respond to me immediately.. i feel they might be offended.
but u have to consider their chart as well. they might just not be listening... they zoned out.. etc.

my saturn also conjuncts my sun and moon though.
have you never been sensitive at some point though? i had to go through the anxiety before i could start being cold.
I did not have the anxiety. I think I have always been distant and a bit aloof. I know its cold, but sometimes I have to consciously tell myself to care.

***Wonderwoman*** maybe you can take baby steps to build up your emotional strength. You know, maybe when a situation arises you tell yourself, "hey, maybe there was no malice involved here." Maybe you can create a mantra for yourself, like "don't be sensitive," "don't be sensitive," "don't be sensitive." I know it sounds corny, but I have used mantras and they have helped.
Maybe part of me gets frustrated that I don't tell people when they hurt me. Like I don't get it off my chest.

I'm very empathetic, I feel everything everyone feels. When someone's hurting I feel their pain. Yes everyone comes to me with their problems

LOL. I can be like that sometimes. Especially that time of the month. And then I have to ask myself, "Am I taking this more personally than I should?"

Yes you're probably right.
Do you REALLY hate the emotional sensitive side of you're being to a point that its seen as overbearing to yourself or others, or that you don't understand why this is part of you're nature or who you are? Is there an incident that you could give thats an example of these emotions being too much or no?
Hate is a strong word, maybe frustration, maybe it's different parts of my chart battling each other I don't know. Maybe I get frustrated because I don't show it and no one ever knows when they've hurt me. I just go cold or distance myself.
Possibly I had a very up and down emotional childhood. My parents separated when I was 7.
Yea people tend to suck with the lack of empathy part , im no expert but i do know to never let strangers see the vulnerable side.
The distance you place seems like a defense or just simply to brush away the uneeded conflict which isnt too bad i think , but damn that distance can get cold very quickly if you stay too long 😢. Also sorry about your family splitting though , you managed well enough im assuming?

I have discovered I have a lot of Libra in my chart including Libra moon.
I certainly don't have the victim mentality. Maybe I'm not as sensitive as I think I am or maybe I'm just being hard on myself because I don't like feeling emotional or vulnerable because I'm the strong one, the one everyone in the family comes to when they want help or need something sorting out. If anyone has a crisis they come to me. Yet I never ask for help or support I just deal with it.

No one sees my vulnerable side unless they are extremely close to me.
You could be right it might be a defense mechanism. I didn't have a bad childhood. I think my mum took the separation badly, was wrapped up in her own grief, had 4 children to raise ( my dad still seen us every other weekend) me being the eldest and my youngest brother having downs syndrome. I guess because I was the eldest I got the least emotional love and support and I didn't cry out for it so i guess I just learnt to shut off those feelings. Plus I was very closer to my dad and I hated him not living with us.

I co-sign the second sentence 100% ...... which leads to extreme ignorance because a refusal is also present in that person to accept having self awareness.

I personally think sensitivity is a gift. It's a sucky gift, sometimes, because being sensitive can hurt, but a gift nevertheless. It's those who either won't accept it or refuse to see that others can also be sensitive too that screw it up.Think about what it means. You are able to sense emotional vibrations at a high level. That's probably just as useful as having a particularly highly developed sense of sight or smell.
Well it's definitely useful when it comes to my children, I can sense when somethings not right even if they don't say anything.
