Viewing all of the gifs of sharks surrounding the living reminds me of something that I'm now wondering is more significant than I thought of the moment in retrospect. I saw a glimpse of a documentary last night where sharks attacked a giant tortoise. I was actually on the verge of tears and couldn't figure out why. Is anyone else feeling particularly sensitive to graphic images of the demise of living creatures these days?

There's something about flowing water at night that is majestic. There's a cove in my hometown where you can sit on the rocks and place your feet in the water at high tide. I've gone there to cry (because it was suggested to me that it would be a healing experience) and it was weird, the tide came in as my tears were flowing VERY heavy and went back out when I started to feel better. I'm making no connection here, it was just an experience that I'll never forget. I needed that. In fact, I could really use a similar experience right now.
