Pisces and Cancer

Some people have had bad experiences with this pairing but I am here to state again my appreciation for it. I just found out one of my favourite tv personalities Brian Cox is a Pisces. Guess what sign his wife is? Cancer! Even if not for a love relationship I have no doubt most Pisces will eventually at some point have a good Cancer friend. One of my favourite friendship pairing with power? justices Ruth Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor. In a Forbes article it stated in her first year she sided more with Ruth than any other justice. That's because typically in my experience Pisces and Cancer are on the same wavelength.

What are your favourite famous water pairings? Does not have to necessarily be Pisces and Cancer. I'm trying to see if there are any pairings I am not thinking of or not aware of.

I wouldn't mind befriending or dating a fish.

They can be rather tasty.

I have heard Crabs can taste wonderful as well. I sometimes like the sound of things cracking : p

I enjoy Scorpios as friends, usually one of my closest female friends turn out to be Scorpios, but I also get along with my brother and few of his male Scorpio friends. It's not to say I don't have Pisces and Cancer male and female friends, it's just the Scorpios that I find myself interacting more with. But I don't think I'd want to date any of the water signs males.

Any two people can have a relationship, if they mean to.

I didn't realize Harrison Ford was married to another water sign! I would love to date a Scorpio but they are either too chicken or subtle to tell me as I don't pick up on those things that easily. Or they eventually flake out on me. For some reason I haven't had a Scorpio friend stay in my life for too long. The only ones who consistently stay a prominent feature in my life are Cancers.

If I were to date a trine sign chances are it would be a cancer. While I feel a connection with both Scorpio and Cancer, I feel more at ease with Cancers. I have quite a few cancer female friends and relatives so perhaps thats why. Additionally, I simply feel more loved and appreciated by the crabs in my life than any of the other water signs.

Cancers are way too emo for Pisces. They can't handle our raw, real emotions. Makes them run in the opposite direction to go hide out in their fantasy worlds.

I think Pisces/Cancer can be an excellent combo but it can only be as good as the people in the relationship and their commitment to each other. Just because you are astrologically compatible doesn't mean you'll be romantically compatible, you know in real life.

With all due respect I don't find this to be true. Two of my three big loves were Pisces and they were more emo than I am. And that wasn't a problem for me at all. I think our Cancer moods can be hard for any sign to handle and we can be jealous and scare the fishes off for sure. But I don't think our problems come from being too emotional but rather acting too quickly on those emotions. Pisces have the good sense to retreat when they feel overwhelmed and that is something they can teach us all.

I agree with the patience and understanding part, fish are high maintenance emotionally and even I don't have many pisces buddies for that very reason, I guess the whole you can't bullshit a bullshitter

I don't know about most fish but I do know that I grow from my relationships with cancers. Even when they get all abrasive and crabby, I find I prefer people who are straightforward emotionally and I easily hand that crown to crabs, even if they are irritating at times because of it. It is the double edge sword of emotional honesty that is the refreshing reward with them.

I personally think astrologers got pisces/cancer compatibility all wrong. The cancers ive come across have been spiteful , conniving, manipulative, bitter, rude people that have no tact and don't know when to shut the fuck up. I have a cancer sibling who ive physically fought because of her inability to have care for others when she goes on her hateful tantrums that are usually a bunch of horseshit. I have cancers family friends that are money hungry and emotionally manipulative. So much so that i cant even trust them to be honest. Cancers and Scorpio share alot of the same qualities. In many ways they deserve each other. I think what bothers me most is how disingenuine cancers are so COMFORTABLE being. Its like... dont you realize how fake youre being? Dont you care about how other people feel. Mind you, im only speaking from personal experience. Ive learned enough to realize that cancer for pisces (or me at least) are, ironically, more if a spiritual death sentence than a benefit to the pisces world. Its sad for Pisces because we kind of have no one we're really compatible with except for other pisces. And while pisces are spiritual sensitive and emotional, id take that over a fake cancer anyday. For ME cancers are a safe HELL NO. Just kill me please.

I like sobriety and quietness, and I can't be with people who love drama and vocalize all their emotions and that's what cancers do.

Now, I think there is a more patient type of pisces who can withstand all the drama and, seing right through the shit, can be a good match for a cancerian, but that's not me.

Regarding water sign pairings, I honestly think a male and female fish do best together. I know it's convention to think it's cancers or arachnids, but I have to disagree.

in bold, you sound like the two Pisces sun uncles we know in real life. They love quiet/peace/hate drama ect. And one of is a farmer, plantation owner, the other is a social worker, and the farmer is married to a Leo sun (i suspect leo aunty has a cancer venus though, and she comes off loud and hearty but very good natured and kind) and the other Pisces uncle is married to a libra sun, early october. Perhaps she has a scorpio venus and dominant chart that has peace and quiet written all over it. I'll have to ask their bdays.

i love cancers dispise my bad experience... i identify with alot of their trails and emotions and i pray to find a person like my cancer friend minus all the fucking bs... remember is not all about sun signs... I have meet pisces and cancers female and males that i wont be friends even with a ten foot pole...

Lol. I have a cancer sister who is exactly how you described. The sad part is, even at 26 she still acts the same and because of it we haven't spoken in over 5 months. In my experience as well, I find that some cancer women can be very jealous of those that either look or are doing better than them. It's sickening.

I've had shit loads of issues with this. My aries stands perfectly in the way with its demanding nature. But once it becomes a close relationship it lasts a long time. Over a year with my last cancer, and a few months with my new one. It pays off, all the pain and heartache. I want to arty a cancer, and share my life with one because even if I have a restless and easily bored nature, and even if on the outside I need someone who will go on adventures with me and sky dive and travel the world, deep down what I really need is someone who is there, someone who will always love me as much and as long as I will love them, and so far, that's a cancer. I just wish they'd have a little sense of ADVENTURE ya boring hermits! Get off your asses and TRY something for once :3
