I had a friend that I felt was trying to take me for a ride this weekend, I had tried inviting a friend out to party at a venue that my friend was hosting and the friend I invited out (Pisces intuition), I gather wanted to me keep me on the back burner for a plan B. Long story short, a better option opened up for her and so she blew me off. The next day, my friend then texts me asking if I can help her on a paper for her Masters' program. I just felt like "wow, this girl really has a nerve," she added a sheepish LOL to the end of her text because she knew she was bold. I just ignored her text haha. I am realizing that no matter how kind or generous you are with certain people, if they are the self-absorbed, selfish kind they will never know how to recognize and appreciate what you do, instead they will only continue to lose respect for you because you reiterate through action, that you are easy to be taken forgranted.

I won't lie you all, ignoring that text felt amazing!

So fellow Pisceans, what was the pivotal or defining moment in your life that turned you away from being the "servant, caregiver," dare I say doormat, to a Pisces that knows when to tell someone to step off? Or just stop taking people's butter?

Me either...I'm the bitchy, fiesty, sassy ass type of Pisces- only by the grace of having fire placements Leo moon and Sag rising with a Diablo mars...
I have a ton of aqua placements, but I do have an Aries moon and my merc is an aries so you would think I'd be more like you. But I think I can see this next half of my life being a bit more sassy, my fuse has been worn thin.

@OP I'm not trying to sound rude on here but I'm trying to figure out where the backbone is?

If you really had a backbone you would have said what you felt and that you didn't appreciate her blowing you off like she did. That's being REAL and authentic to your feelings. Ignoring a persons text in the grand scheme of life means NOTHING, will you speak to this person, again? Is this the end of a friendship?

What is the end goal here? What are you proving by ignoring her text?

No, I don't take offense to your question at all. I actually don't typically have a problem expressing myself vocally, so me not responding had nothing to do with me being weak or fearful. I didn't respond because I typically instantly just DO for people. Even if I don't want to do it, I'll just comply and go along with it. So it was much more of an action of just saying you know what, no I don't want to do it, I don't feel like replying, I don't feel like lying down and being your servant. Normally in such circumstances I'm always making myself available to people, I normally feel bad if I ignore someone, so for me this was a big step. Plus, I'm realizing sometimes words are just not worth the time.

Well, I hope you stick to this b/c there is nothing more destructive to your own happiness than to never stand up for yourself and allow yourself to be a doormat. Boundaries are very important and friendship/relationships should both be giving, if not, then it's not balanced.

Question: What was the pivotal or defining moment.....

Let's see. It FELT oh so good! When I broke off my relationship with a Saggy man. He told me, "I want to remain friends" I said, "I don't sleep with my friends". He didn't like that. He also said, "I cannot stand to be ignored". Well, LOL, I unfriended him on FB, deleted all evidence that he ever existed on my phone (to include blocking him). Click! Ahhhh, that felt soooooooooo good! Why did I do this? Read on.

He asked my friend for her phone number (stupid girl gave it to him) {after we broke up as he attended my birthday party...keep reading before you judge...keep reading} and since my girlfriend didn't want to RUIN my party she told me the following week that he called her and he invited her to his "ranch". She refused. That's when the halo came off! I did just as he had NOT hoped for and it's such a wonderful feeling!!!

Thanks, I do believe I will be welcoming this side of me a lot more now. When I was younger I would of never even thought of putting myself first. It's a constant desire of mine to want to DO for others and want to help others. Don't get me wrong, I'm not the type of push over that will let anyone talk to me any type of way BUT I am guilty of making it too easy for others to take advantage of my generosity and kindness. Which is why this was a big step for me because a. I normally feel the need to give people responses even when I don't have to, I'm not the traditional ignorer of texts haha b. she is the type that won't take no for an answer and is also the type that will ignore text messages, so my silence in this instance was the best course of action.

And just felt good to just feel no urge to do anything for anyone, no matter how big or small.

My daughter is a Pisces sun / Aries moon....she doesn't like confrontation at all...she has Scorp mars too.

I think as you get older...maybe hardened and bitter more, your empathy and thoughtfulness gets scrapped some and you end up with that swim or be eaten attitude and you end up not giving a shit about what other people thinking of you anymore ๐Ÿ˜‰

My mom is a Scorp/Sagg (Nov. 22) and she is super critical, I hate to say this about her but she is the meanest person I know, then my dad is an aloof, detached Aqua., aside from my parents I have a few Leo Aunts that are quite manipulative and critical too...so I will admit that some of that empathy has been chipped away, however I have not become bitter and I really hope I don't grow to become that way. I think the key is cultivating a happy medium. I definitely am looking into be fully carefree about what others think, that I do look forward too haha.

Good for you! Those sagg men are something haha but I'm really curious as to what your friend thought was going to happen with giving her number to himโ€”
I'm glad she turned him down but...

I didn't go into detail doll, since the words were still going thru my brain, "He called me and invited me to his ranch". Saggy men lie! He could have said, "Give me your number so we can stay in touch since you're friends w/Eva, etc, etc, etc, etc". She did me a FAVOR by giving him her number and he asked her to come over to his ranch.

PS: I had asked a guy who was just ordering a drink to dance w/me since it was my birthday and he did! Guess Saggy's way of letting off steam (Saggy men are JEALOUS) was to HURT me and it BACK FIRED on him since again, Saggy's don't think before the speak or think before doing something.

Glad you were inquisitive to ask me that question. I love to answer questions like this.

PSS: I had broken up w/him three days before my birthday (2nd March) so I was TRYING to do the "nice thing" and remain friends w/him until all the above happened. His bad! ๐Ÿน

Love,

Eva
