Bushies Tax Breaks

I saw this on CBS Sunday Morning yesterday and it gave me hope. What do you all think?

Why the hell do we even have tax brackets? I say we should have just one flat tax on income, and maybe taxes on non necessities like alcohol and cigarettes, and weed. It'll save money due to simplicity, and if taxes need to be raised, they won't need to be raised very much since everyone will be paying. The poor and working lower class shouldn't have to pay said tax though. Not to mention that will provide more incentive for businesses to keep jobs in country.
