I don't think most christians in america who contribute money to "protecting" israel are aware of how or why they're being manipulated. On the whole, I think they are listening to their spiritual leaders and feel that they are helping. I don't think the motivation is anti-muslim/islam though.

Jewish political contributions are an interesting phenomenon as well. The notion that in order to get elected our presidential candidates must pledge their support to israel is crazy. I mean the latino population in th US is set to dwarf all others and our presidential candidates don't pledge their support to mexico.

There's definitely something amiss on our end but that doesn't absolve the muslim world from its role in this fight.

It's sad that the majority of Americans truly and wholeheartedly believe this is a Muslim vs. Christian war (as LS previously noted.)Because that could really not be further from the truth.

Not to mention the fact that 85% of the country still hasn't woken up and realized Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan never had a single thing to do with the attacks on the WTC.
