Compatibility - Sun / Moon / Rising

It's funny as I've seen a few posts regarding the signs of your friends etc and while reading these posts I've realised:

Me: Sun - Pisces / Moon - Pisces / Ascendant - Aquarius

Most of my closest friends are Gemini or Aquarius, which use to confuse me as with my Pisces sun sign, Gem & Sag are 'suppose' to be the least compatible.

I was married to a Libra, which ended in disaster; and I don't know his time of birth to look at the other planets placements on his chart.

I am now currently dating an Aqua. This works well as we are compatible across the 3 major influences.

Sign - Me : Partner
Sun - Pisces : Aqua - the companion signs
Moon - Pisces : Scorpio - water/water
Rising - Aqua : Aqua - same sign

Would appreciate comments from others similar / different

LK, do you find the relationships within the signs and across these signs are evident in the relationship?

For instance, I would think that your Libra rising would complement your bf sun Aqua?

Hmmmm... I believe that I may be generally attracted to people's moons. I have found that a lot of my ex's have a Leo moon. I am assuming that would be more than a coincedence...

Friend-wise, I find that I generally get along well with most people, but best with Scorps (my sun sign), Sags (I have a lot of Sag), and air signs (my moons is an air sign) for different reasons.

I guess the idea isn't to find someone that is compatible with your chart, unless through a dating site; but too use the combined charts as areas to work on or be aware of.

Can a relationship be worked on, where there doesn't appear to be any sexual attraction or intimacy.

Note that this was a minor issue in the beginning, but now it is much worse. The problem is, we get along so well even though we can't seem to communicate where it counts. Does that make sense?

I suppose i am concerned that i now view our relationship as a friendship more than anything. By the way ... we are married and it is he who can take or leave sex. This is a real problem. It feels a little like a failure on my part.

Didn't work for me, and it wasn't for lack of trying... I think that either the spark is there or not. Perhaps it has gotten worse merely because no progress has been made (i.e. - frustration)...

But, given the problem is on the other side (i.e. - not yours), that may not actually be the problem... I know that problems in a relationship can distinctly affect my sexual drive. Perhaps this is his problem (and not a lack of sexual attraction or intimacy) and, being a Libra, he feels uncomfortable discussing them...

You could try running your situation by the men on the Libra board. They are generally very helpful in providing insight and advice on other Libra men.

I don't understand if what you're doing is matching each two signs together the way you would the sun signs.

I am interested in finding if people are more attracted towards people from certain signs (friend & dating) and whether this tends to depend on a particular influence, sun etc.

funny Hoodwink, but my Rising is Aqua and I love the Aqua & Gemini friends. Seem to be surrounded by them.

As for the guys, you can only see how things pan out, I wouldn't use astrology to chosse a guy; altough it certainly helps me keep an eye on things that my Aqua & I aren't compatible in. Some things I just wouldn't trade, like our chemistry. We both have large influences outside astrology in common, like both being the eldest child.
