Are there any fans of How i Met your mother on here?

Anyone care to take a guess at the characters' astrological signs?

Does anyone think Ted is a Cancer?

How about Marshall? Could he be a cancer? Or is he something else?

Yea, I could see Robin being an Aries. Lilly can be very manipulative sometimes though. Would pisces do that sort of thing? I don't know much about them.

Sometimes I think Ted is a Cancer, because he can be extremely picky about the girls he dates and they disappear quickly. But when he does know he likes a girl, he sticks with her til he gets dramatically dumped.

Marshall does have that very loyal characteristic to him, but he does not seem as protective of himself as a Cancer would be. He seems like he is really open about who he is and how he feels about things. I don't know what kind of sign is like that?

All of their signs fit perfectly with their characters on the show. Except for Lilly. I'd assume she was a Pisces or Scorpio on the show.

yeah Lily has all that dominant fire/air but her merc in pisces just stand out so much, bleeding into her role. it's cute.

so they actually mentioned astrology signs in one of the epis? i must have missed that one. i haven't seen all. it's hard to catch the back epis online. i can see ted as a taurus, and barney a scorpio? hmmm. with what type of influences? i can see lily too as a taurus, homeloving, homebody,ect and defo on robin as gemini, very versatile, talented, and can do many many things.

*i mean see ted as leo, but with cancer influences. and hell yeah on marshall being cancer, dedicated, loyal and works hard for his family. awesome.

I'm actually so happy someone made a thread about this! i have always wondered if the creators had astrology signs in mind because the characters have stayed true to their personality since season 1.

I think the episode they mention signs may be the one in season 7 where Barney and Ted think they want to adopt a baby together. (obviously i am soooo behind on this show and still in season 7)

finally got up to date with the last one! they sure like to keep dragging on who the "mother" is (Ted's future wife)

I'm not sure about the others but I think Robin is an Aquarius because I'm an Aquarius too. I fear of commitment and relationships. I forget that i'm angry sometimes when people try to distract me with things I like... I think she's more Aquarius than Aries. 🙂 Just my opinion.

Robin is a Leo, er birthday is July 23rd, mentioned on season 5 episode 3, Ted is a Taurus and Barney is a Scorpio

Marshall reminds me of gemini sun taurus moon.

Barney MUST be a Gemini

I think the actor is but how about the character in the show?

Ted is obviously a taurus with a libra moon.

Marshal is a pisces.

Lily - Aries

Robin - Capricorn sun, Sagittarius moon & rising

Barney is a scorpio of course.
