Importance of conjunctions in sinastry

It is said that if your sinastry chart does not appear conjunctions or at least having your personal planets in the same sign even without any conjuction, your romantic relatioships do not promise longevity or cannot happen at all, so even other positive aspects--trins & sextiles--will not help.

Have you ever managed to become a couple with someone without sinastry conjunctions? If so, how were your relationship?

Trins and oppositions are said to work better and in long perspective, than squares and sextiles.

That’s interesting cause I thought it was opposite? Like trines and sextiles are good for long term relationships. Conjunctions create a stronger affinity and passion, but I don’t at all believe it means it’s the only thing that can promise a relationship
