Please help-Libra Girl with Virgo Guy

I am really into this Virgo Guy who seemed to be into me but now I'm really not sure. It might be my fault because I had to decline a few of our dates but I always explained to him it was because of work and he seemed to understand. Now I havent heard from him in a week and almost a half...and I am wondering where it all went wrong. I can say that our last encounter he wasnt very happy...he explained in his somewhat drunken state that he had just found out his Ex had been sleeping with his close guy friend. I expressed in few words that I thought it was horrible but really didnt get into it much more than that b/c I figured he didnt want to speak about it. Maybe I was wrong..whatever the case, it made me realize I was probably being used as the girl he ran to when the Ex hurt him but why is he hurt if she is his Ex? Obviously he still has feelings for her.

Any Virgo men out there who were born in August (preferably) can you help me decode this situation?? If not what I really need to know is..should I just leave him alone regardless and wait until he comes to me...or should I reach out to him? Oh but wait, I already did...after a week of not hearing from him I wrote him a thoughtful text...he never responded..

Any advice??
