Rules of Attraction for a woman...which one?

I always wondered if there was a hierarchy of attraction in synastry. For example, would a Cancer woman with a Mars in Leo be attracted more to a guy with a Cancer Venus, Leo Venus, Cancer Mars, Leo Mars, Cancer Ascendant, or Leo Ascendant?

I'm using her Mars b/c several astrology sources say that a woman's Mars tells what kind of guy she's attracted to, as well as her Sun. It just vexes me when a woman's Sun and Mars are in different signs and in incompatible elements.

My Mars is in Gemini and most Gemini guys get on my last nerves. We're supposed to be compatible, but we just aren't. However my Mars in Gemini does kind of give an idea of what I like. I *do* like a guy that can carry a conversation and has an open mind about things, but everything else doesn't about the Gemini guys I've known didn't work for me. :-/

My moon is in Aries and my Rising sign is Scorpio.
The 2 most intense and deepest loving relationships I've had have been with an Aries and a Scorpio. From what I've read, a more intense pull and compatibility can be found in someone's Moon sign which shows how their emotions are.

How about a female with a Moon in Aries attracted to a male Moon in Scorpio? I wonder if this can work in a long-term relationship.

It isn't just whether or not the moons match up, it depends on any kind of interaction between the major planets *and* the people themselves.

I get along WORSE with those guys and we're supposed to be compatible based on Sun and Mars sign. I got along GREAT with some Aries guys even though we aren't supposed to and they loved my company as well, so it wasn't just my attraction to them. 😉
