What sun sign/moon/venus/mars has been your best connection? (Include yours as well.) I'm not big on the soulmate thing or what relationship was "perfect" because I don't believe in that. All relationships have issues. And I'm not talking sexual relationships here (even though I know that's a big part of it.) I just want to know who has made you feel the most loved and cared about. That feeling when someone truly understood how you felt and did something about it. That relationship that is smooth because you both "get each other." And when you go to sleep at night, you know they love you. No mysteries.

I'm a Libra/libra/Scorpio/Sag and he is a Sag/Cancer/Cap/Scorpio.

I've been with a Taurus, Gem, and Aqua...none of those relationships felt like this.

My latest relationship was a cancer sun, libra moon, cancer mars, and leo venus. She made me feel appreciated and cared for. I always felt "rested" after spending time with her. The relationship ended cause I felt it was too boring at the end of the day. No excitement or stimulation. I always purred like a kitten though around her.

My best friend and I tried to work take it to another level but that was a disaster. She's a aquarius sun, taurus moon, scorp mars, and cap venus. She gets me better than anyone else. Hmm...My Aqua sister has those placements and most of her relationships have been with Leos. (The way you described your relationship is the way I'd describe how they were together.) Her longest relationship now though has been with a Cap Sun with an Aqua Venus.

The cancer was a very caring and accommodationing. The problem was she was a bit too much. So if we had a disagreement about something so simple as a movie, I could easily sway her opinion. She had no backbone and I totally got away with anything. Our conversations became bland very quickly to me as she would laugh at my jokes but not come back with anything to contribute.
We would always do what I wanted to do and her idea of fun wasn't something I particularly enjoyed.

We ended up being long distance... But we fought so hard to stay in each other's life... For real. My only relationship, hated her but we just couldn't stay away no matter what..
Now I've had flings with Leo's and I could literally feel the tension and energy it was so thick...
But the sag had my heart no matter how hard I tried. And she told me I had her soul.. Great memories..

I'm generally a calm and peaceful person so i feel like i draw the crazy.... plus i'm on of those types where if you are sort of sad or crazy it starts to rub off on me and then i feel that way, it's too much and messes with my life.

I'm sure you've heard this before that not all crabs are the same, a lot of it is their moon and house placement. Also, feeling like you dont get a crab is normal.... lol

That's how I was with the Taurus. Inseparable, but never smooth. As I've grown older, I feel like smooth is much better. It's a different kind of relationship. To each their own, but that's just how I feel.

Thanks and you're exactly right. In my head I have the perfect girl. Someone who is fun, slightly manipulative, and adds to my story. It's hard to explain but I guess it's the leo sun in me. It's a selfish view on relationships that I worked thru and now I take each person as a new experience to learn about someone else and learn about myself. This can be kinda hard when pulling a synastry chart cause I catch myself saying "eh air moon or water mars".

I wish I was as smart as you by taking a year off after a divorce. I tried to get back into the game once I was able to stop crying and hid my anger on dates. I had a string of rebounds and hurt some people by letting g them believe I was ready for more than I actually was or I was wrecked when things weren't moving at a pace I wanted.

Oh good, so I'm not the only one?? Lol
I see... My Dad had a hard life growing up..and even though we did as well, it seems to effect him more so. Maybe that's why. Being a libra, when things go bad and I'm thrown off balance, I fight hard to get it back. Otherwise I would just be upset all the time. I won't let that happen. So when he gets super emotional, I don't know what to do. I'm like brush it off, get back on your feet, and keep moving? Lol I'll be there, but that never works. Anyway when it comes to romantic relationships, I feel that's why the Sag and I get each other. Although I definitely believe all people are different regardless of their signs. It's interesting to see what works and what doesn't in relation to astrology.

So try not to draw the crazy so much! Lol Be with someone who is not like that. Wouldn't want it to rub off on you. ‰

Yeah definitely hard when you are visiting sites like this and trying NOT to judge according to their chart. Lol But I'm glad you have found a way to just get to know the person.
And about the waiting...I definitely felt like I needed to for that exact reason. I didn't want to hurt anyone and I didn't want to get hurt. People kept saying you'll find someone fast, but I didn't want anyone. People kept trying to date me and I'd flat out say, I don't want a relationship. I had to work on myself first.

It took a while to get here. Thank you. I definitely am enjoying it and I do cherish him everyday. That's the main thing he says about me that he loves how appreciative I am of the things he does for me and how much he makes me feel loved. I just tell him, he deserves to be cherished. After all I've been through, I can't help but to be appreciative of it.

This is a prime example of a water/fire sun sign clash. Ive seen this a lot in my fire sign friends (most are female) who date water or earth sun suns. In the beginning the love they love the caring & stability but over time that fire needs to spread. All the cuddling, agreeing & sweetness is wonderful for the ego, but it doesn't feed the fire.

And I didn't know he was a Sag until months after getting to know him, but there was just something different about him and the way I felt when I was around him.

Btw there are many Aquas in my life. One of who is getting married to a Gemini this summer. They have a connection that I cannot describe. Everyone says they are made for each other. 🙂

This is why I prefer water or earth SUNS for relationships. We value harmony & day to day easiness, we don't need constant fights for passion. I stir mine up from bottom of my deep earth... my partner from the depths of his ocean.

Sextiles are far more exciting than the astrology books claim. Everyone says date your own element, I think complimentary elements are more exciting, you learn far more and you grow in interesting ways... especially long term. I think there was a thread some time ago about sextile relationships being ideal.

Yes! Definitely something about that sextile relationship. It's exciting, yet you have some things in common as well. The Sag and I have an optimistic outlook on life. That "get over it, brush yourself off, and keep moving" attitude. It works really well.

Yes, its just more manageable. I mean any 2 people willing will make it work but simple day to day compatabilty is most important. I always look at sun to sun and mars to mars first.

I understand. Yes, we were really comfortable with each other.. In fact to this day he says I knew him better than he knew himself and vice versa. But I stay away from him and rarely even talk to him. He crushed my heart...into a thousand pieces and then stepped all over it. Lol I won't explain. But he says I did the same by leaving him. Last thing he said to me is that "if it's not you, I will never get married again." In all honesty, I truly feel we weren't meant to be. Our differences just kept building a bigger wall between us. There was a lot of passion...just not the understanding needed to sustain a relationship.

Omg same here.. She broke my heart into a million pieces.. And took the pieces and threw them lol. I still crave her sooo much, but I'll let it end. We at the point where it's nothing else to do but be together... Ya know. And so the bad traits come out because it's too much love there, and at this time and point we can't love each other like we once did. But I know she'll do great things... I'm proud of her regardless, but she begin to fall in love with power more than loving me... And I'm thinking maybe because she felt more vulnerable than me... But who knows, I'm picking up my own pieces and getting back out there...

But yeah, it sucks... Because that passion is the best. But I don't think she can see herself with a girl for the rest of her life...

I was sure our synastry would be hell but he is the best guy ever. Water and Earth signs don't stimulate me even close to where Air signs (especially) or Fire signs do. He's really dominant but so passionate and romantic. Hes very straightforward and honest, it's a breath of fresh air. We communicate about almost everything. I use to be so anxious in the past but with him.. I haven't felt any anxiety at all! And we go on so many adventures!!! I love that the most!! He's always down to try something new. He came at the right time and I'm really happy with him!
Our house compatibility is fantastic too! I think that's what makes up for our charts.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I know he loves me yet, but current relationship is the most I have felt understood and cared for, smooth and healthy, easy, comfortable..definitely feel in sync. He can keep up with me, we entertain each other endlessly, but we can also be very loving and understanding.

Omg same here.. She broke my heart into a million pieces.. And took the pieces and threw them lol. I still crave her sooo much, but I'll let it end. We at the point where it's nothing else to do but be together... Ya know. And so the bad traits come out because it's too much love there, and at this time and point we can't love each other like we once did. But I know she'll do great things... I'm proud of her regardless, but she begin to fall in love with power more than loving me... And I'm thinking maybe because she felt more vulnerable than me... But who knows, I'm picking up my own pieces and getting back out there...

But yeah, it sucks... Because that passion is the best. But I don't think she can see herself with a girl for the rest of her life...
