What’s your take? Day shift or Night shift?

So I was having this debate with my friend who happens to be a male.
He said, A man can date several women but it’s with whom he chooses to spend his nights where his interest is.
I didn’t agree. I felt you spend the day time with women you like and you spend the night with women u want to have sex with.
He felt you spend the night with women u actually want to lay up with and spend close time with.
What is your take?
What is his sign? I think it’s a personal thing.
It’s not a crime to date multiple ppl. Im talking about dating etc. Also this was a guy type of conversation I was giving my opinion on. He’s a Taurus. I’m surrounded by them. Male and female. The majority of my friends are earth signs with air energy to them.
