Samuel Johnson once said that āNature has given women so much power that the law has wisely given them veryJim Duzak little.ā Thankfully, the legal status of women has changed since the eighteenth century, at least in the Western world. But the first part of Johnsonās quote still rings true. Women do have power, lots of it. But Iām not just talking about power within the family, or power in the workplace, or even power in high political office. Iām talking about a more basic kind of power: power over men.
If a woman recognizes her power over men, and chooses to exercise it, she can own a man. I donāt care who the man is or what heās accomplished; if she wants him and heās at all attracted to her, she can own him. Or she can own him as long as she can create illusions in his mind, the kind of illusions that bring on the free-flowing rush of sensations and the thrill of feeling truly alive. Illusions are powerful, maybe the most powerful force of all when it comes to men. A man will do anything, and risk everything, to keep the illusions alive and the sensations flowing. (If you doubt me, think of Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina, who destroyed his political career, and severely damaged his marriage and possibly his relationship with his four sons, when he flew to Buenos Aires to see a woman he was absolutely smitten with).
the guy in the article seems to UNDERSTAND the power of women.
and the way they use their power on men.
Are you the type of woman who uses men to wrap around their finger? Or are you the woman who is in AWE and look at the woman in amazement OR disgust that she is able to do that??
Or are you the type who is in awe of those power climbing women who get whatever they want, ambitious and clever and cunning.
I dare you to find a woman who loves herself completely ā every inch, every hair, every detail and every angle of herself. I dare you to find a woman who doesn't want to change one thing, isn't jealous of one person and who isn't completely and utterly absorbed with fixing at least one thing about herself.
I'm not sure if men are this way, but women have the tendency to find one thing wrong with themselves and harp on it for the rest of their lives. They also have a tendency to be jealous of every woman, love every woman, see every woman and accept every woman⦠with the exception of themselves.
We only see women on the street with things we don't have. The women with boyfriends, long hair, straight hair, tan legs, skinny arms, tiny waists ā and we wish we were them. We assume they have better lives because they have that one thing we want. They have the thing we'd give our soul for, trade for without a second thought. They have bigger boobs and smaller hands, so they must be happier.
Ladies, what you forget to realize is that the woman whose life you are longing for is just another woman who is longing for something else. She would trade her long legs for your high cheekbones. She would give her beautiful blonde locks for your curves. She would give her model height for a boy who didn't cheat on her.
No woman, like no man, is perfect. No woman is genuinely and completely content with herself. It's a curse I'm not sure we'll ever fully break, but we can learn to live with it.
I know this is a bit long, but promise it's worth the read. In need of answers. I am a Sagittarius female. 2.5 years ago, a Cancer female -- 7 years my senior -- became new to my office. 3 months in, we were growing closer. 6 months in, it was clearly

these days women are into the careers and climbing that corporate ladder, they want to play with the big guys too.
but they still get paid LESS than the guys.
so, when women have power, do you as a woman or man can tell they have power?
is power really noticeable?
