After breakup, does it leave "bad" energy where you live?

Hi, this is a weird question, but do you believe that living with someone in a relationship for a few years, and then they move out so you are left living by yourself there, does it leave a “bad” energy?

My ex and I broke up 4 months ago and I still live were we lived together. I just prayed through the house after and redecorated to make it more my own place. I've been fine and not felt any bad energy.

Slightly different scenario. My husband and I may divorce this year. We moved house just over 2 yrs ago. His decision. Long story!

Anyway I actually want to move out or sell the house as I am unhappy there for a variety or reasons. The main thing is there are too many bad memories for me to stay there. Bad memories which stated even before we moved.

So I already bad energy at home ..

I never lived with someone but people can bring bad energy in your life. Could be a friend or lover. Even people you work with. Have to protect yourself.

It is good to cleanse the house as energy can linger

Definitely. Scorp guy never lived with me but after this last time, I feel the need to burn some sage or something. What probably makes it worse is that he's the first man I allowed into my home and my bed. It's like he still lingers here. I actually went out and bought new bedding. Yeah. I'm that weird.
