This is a great topic. I'd be curious to know what people's responses are. I lived with my ex for 5 of the 6 years we were together. I think part of the reason why I stayed with him for so long had to do with being comfortable and that I had invested so much time... that it seemed like the right thing to do. It wasn't until I ventured out of the little bubble I had been living in with him for so long, that I realized there is life outside of it.

There was some hassle and seemingly unnecessary sacrifice that came along with growing up together, being young.
Now, not much hassle or sacrifice at all.
I love him.
He is family.
No one loves me more.
I have had a life outside. It was cool.
I have integrated the life outside and the life with him into one life.
We go outside together - *giggles*

Love can grow with time, with friendship, with shared experience... the passion might ebb, but the love doesn't need to be lost.

But hey,when you are together for so long...
You have some people who seriously separate their partner not only in their "outide life" but, also in their heads. It's somewhat an objectification. So, what I'm saying is I don't just love him because he is with me or, because he loves me. I love him and care for him as an individual... I truly care.

My husband loves me so much and I love him too much. He told me he's not an expressive man with words of love, and he only does so, because of me. He understands me deeply, loves my family and accepts them - flaws and all, and accepts me for my flaws.

As with above:
No one loves me more.

Do you have delusions of love, Tate? Do you not believe in it? Do you somehow believe that love cannot be aspired and be simple and stable?

And same with VenusAquarius, I know what it is like outside, it's the same rat race it's always been.
It's a scary world out there. I'm eccentric and honestly so.

Some people do not enjoy the comfort of stability, and monotony but hey that's them. For some they need thrills and chills and stuff. I get heart palpilations.

lisa, mine is not expressive either but boy when he is, what he says resonates like he said it 1000 times. He's poignant, direct, and deep. It lets you know, he's sincere. Right?
