Bf broke up w me the 2nd time can we stay friends

Thank you guys. He said he really wants me in his life forever but that he understands if i need time. Is this cause he isn't sure if he wIll want me back later cause he said I was the best gf he could of had. Or is he just being nice??

Sounds like you two care about each other, but need to part ways. The relationship has run its course and you both know it. There's nothing wrong with taking time and space apart. First loves are always rough because you literally don't know how to see that person in a different light. The best thing either of you can do is to have some time apart to evaluate what you want in a relationship.

He probably realizes this and is letting you know that it is ok for you to take the space that you need to get over him.

He said he really wants to stay friends. Very sad but we both know it's time you're right. Thank you! I really wanna be friends too so we don't miss you each other and get curious cause I think that's why we can't stay broken up for long. He always ends up saying how much he misses me and we try again.
