Break-Up Relief

Does anyone feel that after one? I get sort of sad the first day and at random times but honestly I feel more deep relief than anything.

A lot of my relationships I felt like all I did was take care of the other person ( even feel like their mother at times ) and than they didn't put the same amount towards me.

I honestly I don't know if I even care to talk to these people again. But they always make contact later. So I see em because part of me does like them and all... but a lot of it is pitty or sometimes being horny.

I really hope they find other mates because I don't want to feel responsible for them. But I think it's hard for them.

I hate the emotion of guilt so much. I'm really really trying to learn boundaries and that it's Okay to say no and cut off and to stop taking care of others and just take care of myself!

You have nothing to feel guilty for. Back when I allowed a channel of communication to exist with exes, it didn't accomplish anything good, at worst it did harm.

This part really struck me. Don’t become the nagging caretaker. Not many want to fuck their mom.
