Ever Been Attracted..

Physically to someone whose music you dislike/hate? This seems to be happening more frequently then I care to admit. I have musical tastes that veer towards pretentious hipster d-bag terriotry like indie rock, electro pop and what not.

Now, there has been some mainstream acts in the past where I didnt like the music but thought the female singer was attractive. BTW it is slow at my joB and that is the only reason i'm doing this list LOL

Case in point -

Alanis Morrissette- Not a fan prefer PJ Harvey but i thought Alanis looked cute back in the day.

Shania Twain - Hated her music but thought she was pretty in the 90's early 2000's

Faith Hill - I thought her music was corny as hell , but during the early 2000's thought she was attractive too

Toni Braxton - decent singer but not kind of R&B i like more into the Meshelle Ochello I think her name is music

Janet Jackson - 90's - mid 200's. Dont dislike music but not a fan. She was hot back then though

Gwen Stefani of No Doubt - Never liked her music but thought she was really attractive

Sheryl Crow - Didnt hate her music till Soak up the sun but thought she was pretty

Katy Perry - I hate her music but thought she was attractive before she went Kanya crazy and cut her hair short

Christina Aguilera - Good singer but not my type of music - attractive when she lays off the clown make up

Britney Spears - Not my type of music - but think she is attractive

Mel B AKA Scary Spice from the Spice Girls - Thought she was really goodlooking up until a year or so ago

Fergie From Black Eyed Peas - I will catch a lot of grief, but thought she was attractive I hate her music though

Jennifer Lopez - Music was terrible but think she is attractive

Mariah Carey - Not a fan at all, but thought she was pretty years ago

Kacey Musgraves - Dont dislike but not really into her music. Think she is good looking though

This is mainstream music. And mainstream music's main aim is to be sold good. And we live in the world where to sell anything, it has to be shiny and perfectly wrapped. So, the managers, PR's and who not were mostly concentrated on the attractiveness of their product, and then the quality of their singing, etc.

I'm not saying some of these people didn't make some good music and aren't artist in general. But the more shiny they were on the stage, the better their music sold. The emphasis was put on good looks, and that's why most of them look attractive.

If Jennifer Lopez sang her songs in Daft Punk outfit, I deeply doubt anyone would remember her songs.
