my good friend, is starting to date, and she made an online profile. Well after a couple months of her with profile and watching the TLC show(Love at first swipe), I was courious about her profile. I found her picture, on on profile pix is her face and half my face. I clicked her profile, and there was the whole pix, it was a night out. I was drinking (she was DD) so my eyes were closed, not so flattering on my side. she posted without telling me, Its been a month since me knowing this, and months since she posted. so has this ever happened to anyone, and did you let them know? I don't want it to ruin our friendship, but i'm bother she didn't tell me

Fuck no.

Tell her to take that shit down. Creeps can save that pic and be jacking off to your face for all you know.

Smh, this is why I don't take pics with people. Cause I know it's gonna end up on social media and a shit ton of people I don't know will be staring at my face.

All my close friends know that I'm not cool with it and will ask me/tell me if their gonna use my image.

My guess is she genuinely didn't think it was a big deal and didn't think you would either.
By all means let her know you'd prefer it taken down but I don't think it's worth ending a friendship over!

my buddy have my photo as lockscreen and i have his dog as mine.

i dont think its creepy, i think its sweet.

That's two totally different things.

Having your photo as the background on your friends phone is miles away from splashing your photo on a dating site. You see that right?

One is private use by someone you know. The other is a public use of your image...

I think it's fascinating how some people really don't think anything of it and wouldn't care and some of us are just like....ummmmm no.

Personally I would let her know I'm not comfortable with it and tell her to take it down or crop you out as someone else stated.

Definitely not anything to question a friendship over.

that exactly how I think, you know on fb(a little more control who sees ) , I ask my friends if its ok to put a picture up, hardly ever post pictures to tag them. but to be on a dating site (where is public) , is making me sick. just overthinking it. she also posted a picture of her and another friend. I don't know if she's doing that to draw more attention to herself, or if its the norm on a dating side.Personally I think it since she should only post pictures of herself, since its her personal dating profile.

It's not worth throwing an otherwise great friendship away. But I also don't advise you to be passive-aggressive about the situation either. It's simple. Just tell her that you're uncomfortable with your picture being on a dating site & kindly ask her to take it down.

If she doesn't take it down, that's another story. But if she's your friend & if she values your feelings and opinions, it shouldn't turn into a fight just for her to take it down.

If a friend did that to me, I'd be pissed, but I'd also consider that their intentions were probably innocent. Some of the best pictures of me are pictures with me & friends.

So she probably wanted to use the pic b/c she just innocently & honestly thought it was a great pic of her (she could've cropped you out tho). That, and b/c some women like to add pics of them with their friends b/c they think it shows potential onlookers how much of a fun life they have.

Again, just tell her what's up & go from there

I think its a molehill turned mountain. Just be honest, "Yo girl, thats a great pic of you, but me, not so much, do me a solid and crop me outta that one please."
