I used to be on tinder.
Out of the four people I met in real life, 2 were catfish, 1 was married, and 1 was in a long term relationship.
It's not for me. I'd much rather meet someone in person.
Plus you spend a ridiculous amount of time reading and then blocking dudes whose first message reads, "What are your views on bjs on the first date?" or "I would love to lick Nutella off your naked body".
LOL That's EXACTLY what my coworker said!! lol she said the pick up lines are worth having the app ROFL
See it's everywhere and especially on POF, hm catfishing isn't cool. I see pictures all the time photos hop or its their friends pic instead..smdh.

jesus
how do you deal with it when you come across the catfish? i'd feel so awkward.click to expand
I let them buy me dinner and then I walked away.
I'm as advertised so I expect the same.
When I came out of my last relationship, I argued with some of my single guy friends about how hard it was to meet someone real using a dating app. I'd been out of the game for like 12 years with back to back Long term partners. So I uploaded Tinder. I've never typed the word no so many times in such a short span. I thought I had it made on my bet, with all the guys trying to just hook up like a disaster. Bathroom sefies, guys talking about their gym time, guys looking to find a place to get wasted and have sex.
My boyfriend used both Tinder and OKcupid, he would do one app a month and swap. He says OKcupid is better, and it still baffles him that I was on Tinder.

has anyone used the apps Tinder or Her before? my libra coworker showed me this last night. she laughed saying it was a fun, superficial way to meet people in your area lol i admit both apps look interesting. the second, Her, is just for ladies seeking ladies which i found interesting. as she scrolled thru the pics of people in the area with the apps, there were some goodlooking folks lol especially on Her! didnt realize how many lovely ladies were bi or gay in my area lol i don't do Facebook so i wont be joining as you have to have FB to join... which i think is ridiculous but whatever. people probably think im ridiculous for NOT having FB. just interesting looking and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with either app?
