WTF is with these men who are afraid to be hurt? So they are non commital, dissapearing, whiny...etc.

I so agree... there is that sexy quality about men who don't harbor feelings. It sounds sexist but remember men and women are generally and inherently different both in how we process information. With taht said, there are some traits that men are better at such as not harboring those "hurt" and "defeated" feelings...
