I make it a point to say "*I* love you."
In my opinion, it's way more personal and genuine. It's like how I like to say "*God* bless you," and not just "bless you." There a sense of accountability when I say "*I* love you."
Then there is the "I am so in love with you right now." *swoons*

Posted by blackmoonI agree however I agree that there's a deeper emotion attached to "I love you" but when I'm texting my man, I don't say "I love you" everytime because depending on the context of our conversation the serious undertone might be a bit too much and that's when I say "love you"
love you-less awkward to say but means the same thing 🙂
He knows I still mean "I love you" but if we're joking around, I feel like "I love you" is way too serious so I say love you and it keeps the fun tone of the conversation going but I still very much mean "I love you"
They are different to me.
I only use I love you with people I'm actually in love with .
I use "love you" with friends and family....even though even with that I'm only going to say it if I feel it/mean it at the time.
