In your opinion does 'love you' hold the same meaning/value as ' I love you' ? How are they the same/different to you
I love you to me holds more value than a simple love you where the latter seems to be said because "it's the right thing to say." Doesn't mean the person doesn't care or doesn't love you, but "I love you" has more emotion behind it, more feeling to it and is usually said to enforce or reinforce a deep feeling.

love you-less awkward to say but means the same thing 🙂
I agree however I agree that there's a deeper emotion attached to "I love you" but when I'm texting my man, I don't say "I love you" everytime because depending on the context of our conversation the serious undertone might be a bit too much and that's when I say "love you"

He knows I still mean "I love you" but if we're joking around, I feel like "I love you" is way too serious so I say love you and it keeps the fun tone of the conversation going but I still very much mean "I love you"

I agree. It depends on the effect you are trying to achieve. I agree with beautifulsoul74. I love you has more of an emotional impact. the emotion behind love you is downplayed.
