Ego is just sense of self. I don’t mind a bit of ego.

Humility is an attractive quality
The intelligent one has the humility but the dumber one has that animalistic, exciting side.
I'd take the self deprecating/intelligent one 100% of the time

No. Big ego is as equally unattractive as being "a bit dumb" and shallow. Lol, not sure how the bigger ego would be seen as a plus.

Nah, not even confidence really. I asked because I am confident as a selfless and humble person, but I see that girls my age, no matter how intelligent, seem to feel better with the guys who I believe have 'big egos'. Thing is that big egos and confidence go together naturally though. That's why I asked too.
Also it depends on what you mean by dumb and shallow. My definition and yours might be different..

Feel better? As in being taken care of? Protected? Or fun and exciting? Just trying to better understand.
If it's the fun and exciting piece, trust soon that will get old if the guy borderlines on arrogant and selfish. As well, as you get older the "world" and your option of woman that appreciates selfless and humble men expands tremendously and that's without the internet.

Fair enough lol..
But i don't mind it to be honest.. I guess it depends on the person.
For example.. my ex is a label whore. He will not wear anything without a label on it unless it's for work. To me that makes him shallow but he doesn't treat ppl differently or look down at them.
