natural vs made up
Well, doesn't always seem that way when you see men with women that hardly leave the house unmade (not that there is anything wrong with that).
Most men say they like natural beauties vs. a caked on woman. What that translates into is a woman that looks good with minimal make up as opposed to cake ons.
No woman looks good natural unless you are a baby. As you (both men and women) age, they get wrinkles, discolorations around various areas of their face, crows feet, skin issues which take away from beauty. So a woman walking with her dark circles visible will look ill rather than hot to a man. However, if she conceals them and put on light make up to conceal any blemishes, a man will find her more attractive vs. caked on since he doesn't have to worry about the layers and layers within that cake. Lol

Is that really a man's preference or a woman's insecurity? bit of both? *shrugs* might be harsh but there are superficial people out there if we're talking strictly superficial and just the courting stages I do appreciate a girl who dolls up, I'd look good for them and it's appreciated if they look good for me. Not like I'd dig into it because I thought we connect with other people to get to know them and not just their looks.
If we want to go beyond that I think most people can look past the physical side of things.
Does no one find beauty in the natural changes? Like those crow's feet and wrinkles tell the story of that person's life? The beauty in a life lived, the happiness, the pain, the beauty in aging gracefully, self acceptance?
Example: In my opinion, Sean Connery looked more attractive as he aged, more distinguished.
A man who can't find beauty in a woman without make up on is a man who can't truly love a woman at all in my opinion.
Someone had brought up wrinkles and such...that's how the aging gracefully bit came up.
Oh, there are plenty of women that wear a ton of makeup even though they are gorgeous without it. Wouldn't have recognized them if I hadn't seen them transform from natural to makeup. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate a person's ability to do makeup well; i am not one of them...I can do it, just not as "artistically" as some.

i actually like crows feet and laugh lines one some people and I know plenty women and men who have aged gracefully....my whole family looks damn good all my uncles and aunts and their all in their 50 or 60s...inlcluding my mom.
i like both natural and being made up...some women pull off the really made up look well....i say to each its own....I love all aspects of beauty including the natural
Some girls need makeup so I don't mind if they wear it, however I prefer when women don't need much or any.
I like a girl who's comfortable in her own skin.
All the women on the housewife shows try too hard to look perfect with their eyebrows plucked to the point where it looks unnatural. It's really sad. I'm sure they would look fine if they just stopped caring so much.
To me, makeup is just a reflection of how they feel about themselves when they look in the mirror. It's a turnoff if they don't like what they see. A definite red flag. Not saying I wouldn't date a girl like that if I liked her personality and i thought she was cute or pretty but I would definitely take that into consideration before putting a label on our relationship.

Yea, that's a self-praise. Anyway, the thought is beautiful that men like women who are natural looking. You will also find many saying that lie on here. In reality, however, that's not the case. You'll never see a no make up face get more attention next to a natural make up face, not caked on. Don't lie to yourself.
I'll post a picture up shortly which many women liked on FB. I was one of them. Why did I or those other women like it? Because it had truth to it. Now lemme go find it and post it.
... To me it's just about putting the best foot forward.

Umm no actually. I do think myself to be attractive naturally. My comments are about what I have observed when it comes to men.
