I don’t think i’d ever get married again. Right now I just want to focus on my kids while they’re all still living with me. Time is fleeting. And you never know what can happen tomorrow.
I feel like since I got seperated and divorced, i’ve made a lot of impulsive decisions and started relationships and dated people who I knew either weren’t able to commit, or that I really wasn’t that into.
So I can’t imagine committing to marriage again at this point in my life.
But I’m all for being surprised and proved wrong.
So if he was right and your kids weren’t home you would get married again?
What for?
No.
What would be the point?
That’s what I think...but @HippeeGem has a point as well. And hopefully she will be happy and married again.
I guess my point is that I would feel more secure being legally married but divorce feels crappy and I wouldn’t want to go trough this again.
And loose out on the alimony checks? No way 😂

You don’t have to worry...wait...you made more than him. So you will pay him! 🤦♀️

Would have to be stupid enough to marry without a prenup. And I don’t have a dick so that likelihood is slim to none 😆

People rarely get alimony anymore. In my state you have to be married for a min 10 years to even discuss it.
Second marriages have a high divorce rate. I think I read somewhere that it was even higher than for the first ones.
If I were to marry again, divorce would not be an option. 'Til death do us part. Natural causes or murder/suicide.
Really? Nobody talking about divorces after second marriages. I am surprised. So...people learn NOTHING!?
Well...3 is the magic...any info in that? Lol

Well I’m assuming most on their way to second marriages are boomers and yeah plenty of them collecting their monthly alimony checks and waiting to pull that social security

Ok. Where are we moving? Into your state or out of it? It’s a thing to think about. 🤔
I don't see the point in getting married. Only reason I ever got married was cause I wanted children. If I knew then that I wasn't going to have any I would have never gotten married in the first place.
I cant say if I'd do it again. I have known ppl who have said that and they end up doing it.

More like GenXers.... boomers are well into their 60s or older at this point.
If I hadn’t remarried, I’d not have my Shorty and I’d have never moved to Milwaukee. If I didn’t move here, I wouldn’t have met the Virgo and probably wouldn’t have a job I love.
Never say “never”, I say.

Oh God, okay I've been married 3 times and the last one I married (Gemini) was because I couldn't imagine my life without him. If you're in love, do it.

Please tell me if you were about to get married after divorce - would you?
Considering your kids are grown up.
What would be the deciding factor for you to agree to do it again and if you’ve done it - have you regret or happy you did?
