* take your time....spend lots of time together talking and getting to know one another...

*if you have a "list" chuck it out the window...most of the time your soulmate will not have the characteristics of what you want, but what you NEED (which you may not even be aware of the things that you need that they bring to the table)

* know about his past relationships and him yours...often times knowing what was missing or what went wrong for both of you is invaluable information to build something solid

*learn the art of a slow seduction...yearning, desire, longing....is highly undershadowed in a society used to instant gratification. That translates to holding out with sex ( this gives you time to learn about this man, it's a good thing)

* learn his communication style because there will be bumps along the way, even in the most perfect rekationship....does he need space, does he articulate his feelings verbally well or express them better in writing? Use his style to communicate with him effectively when bumps come along the way...

*always see the man...not the car, job, clothes ie: material items. This is the 21st century, this is a partnership not a meal ticket

* how does he treat his mother or females in his life?

* always look for red flags...temper, unwarranted or unexplained disappearing acts, lies, etc...common sense

*do not be tempted to snoop unless you have damn good evidence that the snooping is warranted

*be yourself from the get go...don't play games ie: hot and cold, looking or acting anything more then you really are, making one jealous, pretending you are busy and ignoring...that shit does not ever work and is a facade that eventually fade and when he does see the real you may feel like he doesn't even know who you are...and feel tricked and cheated =buh bye...gone

*enjoy it....falling in love, nothing like it ever and rollarcoaster of emotions

*does this man show you he wants you with equal fervor? And that may not be verbally...actions speak much louder then words
