if you're too lazy to read it..since it is long(unless you skim through it but whatevers) then i'll tell you.

its about the fallen angels who went against gods intentions or his "rules" - such as sin? And oh by the way, enoch is the grandfather of noah, hes the one that god chose to see the visions. The Angels slept with the people on earth and also shared "magic" from the heavens: medicine, etc. God ofcourse knowing him, found out and locked them up and thus it came down to judgement day for them. This is where noah comes in, god decided to wipe out every human on earth by drowning everyone(sound familiar?) yeah. And blaadadadadad, basically this book was written before christianity came into order which is even funnier. It also brought a lot of controversy since you know..its talking about angels...going..back..on..god. Just decided to share because this message board is well known for its sharing right? hehe, later.

cool but Luz it makes sense that this book came before Christianity because all the stories of Noah and the Flood are part of Judaism, christianity only changes at A.D. times with christ and all that. Otherwise, the religions are the same except for interpretation.

its cool that you found this because I've been trying to find out where all that battling between heaven and hell and the fall of the angels and Lucifer and archangels, etc. etc. came from because I haven't found it in the bible (though I haven't been through the whole thing). For a while there, I thought it was the creation of John Milton and his "Prardise Lost" poem. If you know much about where all that stuff came from, I'd love to hear about it.

thanks for the info parallex. You seem to know a bunch about this stuff... are there any other sacred or semi-sacred texts that aren't included in the bible but are important in Christianity? Also, are the ideas of purgury/levels of hell (or is that just Dante), an antichrist, any of the practices of baptism/confirmation/going to churches/converting others to one's faith/ ect ect or are these just practices that have evolved over time and culture?
