Strangest thing happened this morning

I was led down in bed this morning minding my own business when my buzzer went off in my apartment.

I thought who could that be at this time in the morning it was 7.25 I was alone with my children as its my weekend with them.

So I got up and answered to find this lady stood there and I said hey how can I help and she said I'm so sorry to bother you at this time but I have been up all night trying to find my phone and I have tracked it back to this address and it has been left in a taxi/cab.

The car is a mercedes she said and it's parked outside here.

I said okay it is probably the neighbours car so I will come down and let you in and help you out.

She came in and we went up stairs to find that the guy luckly had the phone from the night before and she proved that it was hers so we went outside to get the phone she said to me you are the only person to of helped me out honestly I am so grateful.

I said its no problem at all im glad I can help she said could I ask you to help me just little bit more and I said yes of course whats the problem she replied do you have wifi I replied yes come with me upstairs and I will connect your tablet so you can disable your phone as she listed it as lost and it was disabled.

So we did that and got talking she is from Greece and is here studying bio medicine in University and I said wow that is amazing well done to you keep up the good work I asked did she enjoy it and she said yes I really do love what I do it will make a difference one day.

She was very lovely and said to me I am so thankful we need more people like you how can I make this up to you I said honest it's no trouble and I was walking down stairs and she said kept looking back trying to make convo and stay in my presents she said could I take your number I said okay what was your name and she told me and I told her mine she said its lovely to of met you then left as her taxi/cab was outside.

It was lovely to help someone out and to have a nice conversation.

My point is I have been so invested in my partner Gem and lost myself so much along the way when things have been really bad between us and thinking she's the only woman out there this has gave me massive confidence again and opened my eyes.

Gem is acting all casual like she doesn't care about us anymore and is out with her friend again today she's still calling me and texting me but I have just started to pull away again im sick of the up and down in and out.
