....I learned from my philanthropic father to help those less fortunate. My mother wasn’t as giving

Humanitarian? No. But I do give to some charities for certain causes that I feel deserve them. Usually more environmental issues than human issues but I will help with disaster relief for things like hurricanes or women's shelters for abused women.

I don’t give to charity but I give to individuals and animals. Those who fall upon hard times and/or less fortunate. I think I am generous. I don’t mind it. It’s just money or stuff.

😆 I notice everyone who responded ain't no Sagittarius lol. It's aight tho. I just wanted to see if we got any Sagittarius who go by that humanitarian streak thing like astrologers claim them to be.

Yes I do participate in a charity.

I also feed the homeless every now and then.

I sponsor guide dogs to be trained and get pictures of the dogs and updates that we stick on our fridge 😁

Do local food bank drops too, I mostly donate long life milks, tinned foods, menstrual and baby products. We had a local collection for Ukrainian refugees a few weeks ago to be sent to Poland, filled my car with baby formula, nappies and menstrual products for them.

I like to do what I can, where I can. There are a lot of elderly people where I live, so if I see them struggling I’ll ask if they need help. Only takes two minutes out of my day to help load their heavy shopping into their car boot for them and put their trolley away, but that one act of kindness might just make their week. It’s nice to be nice.

Not with humans. I'm slightly eugenist.

I can selectively give to a hobo but most panhandlers are sleazy scammers.

Most charities are scams and your money gets stolen by oligarchs.

The only thing I give to charities are my clothes. I donated a few times to "gofundme.org"...don't even remember what for.

I'm a sucker for homeless and beggars, though. If they beg in a touching way and I carry no cash, I feel guilty for a long time. Sometimes I can't take it anymore and divert to the next ATM, then go back to the beggar and give him a fiver or tenner.

However, being a humanitarian (as in the title)means something else to me....someone who is passionate about the future of the mankind and tries to make a real change for the better.

Sometimes I give to charities, but a lot more when there is a local event like the fires that happened here a year & a half ago.

My clothes, I give blood occasionally & I keep thinking I want to get involved in some local ones, but life always seems crazy and I end up giving my time to my family or friends instead.
