But I will say sometimes I can really feel bad for myself when I’m struggling with something and get overwhelmed ....and I’ll start to feel real disappointed there’s no one like me in my life who is there for me like I’ve been there for others.

In the end it’s my own fault though, you can’t expect people to know you need them unless you have to reach out...and I am admittedly not good at that.

Also, I think people don’t always realize I need them because I work very hard to appear like I need no one but myself 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I honestly just like helping people, introducing good karma into the world, and just trying to be a good person to people that need it.

I don't need or expect anything in return as I give freely. I have noticed it does mind-phuck people because they are used to selfishness, and subsequently I end up getting things I wasn't expecting in the long run.
Thank you for sharing. That is good to know 🙂

I was raised by a mom who always said, "I am doing x for you now so when I am old, you need to do x for me too." Therefore, I always feel a bit skeptical when people offer to help without expecting anything in return.
I hate when people give with expectations. I personally feel it devalues the good deed. Seems like a selfish act instead of one of caring.

I feel that way too. That's why I feel I can never trust my mom. I feel she has never loved me. She had me because she wanted me to take care of her when she's old.

This seems to be a common trait of sags... I guess I can at least just put it out there, saying "hey, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out."
