how long do Sags hold onto their ex's

that's all:
how long after a divorce, break up and such do Sags hold onto their ex gf as in emotional attachement. I think my Sag is still attached to his ex wife of 16 years somehow. We met after they divorced, but I can't help but feel that way. His moon is in Cancer, and his Mars in Scorpio with Venus in Sag. Not sure if that helps. He says they are good friends, for the kids benefit - and I respect that, I dont want a man who doesn't make things work for the kids. But I'm just feeling off and uneasy 😢

any light on this?

Depends on how long I was with them. I'd like to be " ok " with all my exs. I feel like that is the mature thing to do. Not super close or anything but cool.

a man is always going to feel some kinda a way about the mother of his kids.
