The reason why I say this is because as in readying this book I'm beginning to realize that introverts in my opinion are adaptable to any setting you put them in. However; they seems to draw inward more so then extroverts do. Introverts are comfortable with their own company, many are thinker and observers, draw inward to understand their own feelings and interpret them in detail, aren't afraid to except their short comings. They are also go getters, but not in an aggressive nature, still they do go after their life's purpose.
Some might think that introverts submit or have the personality of someone who is submissive. This I believe is false; a submissive person while submissive to one person; might not submit to the rest of the world. A submissive in the outside world can be as dominate as the next person; as career oriented and assertive as the next person, however, they choice to submit to one person and that person alone; and it's still a choice.
Being introvert does not mean you lack social skills; assertiveness; career orientation; and so. Your; in my opinion in tune with both the outside world and what lies with in. Their is a sense of calm, acceptance, confidence in an introvert that many extroverts at times wish the could sometimes achieve. And many extroverts, who have learned to adapt, are in actuality introverts or ambivert; which is means you have the ability to balance both. As a person who has a balance of both; I've learned that both are needed in what ever setting it's meant to be displayed.
I need my down time; seek inner peace; inner understanding of myself; enjoy my own company, love to me alone, in fact I need this kind of down time to tune to myself, and continue evolving ; healing, learning, to also project that inner balance in the outside.
I also require social time; I like meeting know people, love developing connections with others, delving deeper in to their thoughts and how they see the world, I like to know how others perceive their own surroundings, and also give a hand when they are trying to push through an inner turmoil that they have difficulty dealing with. I love to guide, as well as be guided by the knowledge of others, whether through experiencing on the outside, inside or through literature.
However; the only reassurance I need
