Merc in Sagg

I know so of you have this placement and others on this site have this placement but how do you keep yours under control?

Me and Sagg we get along fine until he may say something to trigger me and I say the first thing to come to my mind and I don't think first, and he for some reason takes everything I say so seriously and gets pissed off when I say the first thing that comes to my mind.

Yesterday he told me "You know you have a very good heart, but you got a garbage diposal of a fucking mouth"

I can't say he is not telling truth cause he can say one thing to me and most of the time he is kidding but it might be that one day I am not feeling it and I will say some shit to just fuck up his head. So for the new year I am going to try and think before I speak suggestions needed...

I really think before I speak when I'm angry. I try my darnedest to run it over in my head twice before it leaves my mouth. That's why I unfortunately developed a habit of throwing things. I let off my frustration that way instead of letting daggers fall from my mouth. Besides that, people around me pretty much just learn to deal with my brutal honesty. They know I mean no harm and half the time I don't even know what was wrong with what I said. The only people who don't complain are fellow Sags and he Scorp I always speak about. He has Merc in Scorp and has a wicked tongue himself.

Side note ... I was out with my 10 year old daughter. Some lady made a very loud, dumb comment. Innocently though. I opened my mouth, and before I could speak my daughter said, "Mommy please don't!". I bust our laughing bwahahaha! Poor baby.

Ah, sounds like you're suffering from FIMS... (Foot-In-Mouth-Syndrome)

I've yet to cure my FIMS and my Mercury is in Capricorn. 😢


But what is it that you're having trouble doing?


Can you really not think before you speak? I thought that was my problem but I actually do think before I speak.

OR

Are you unable to tell whether this was a rude statement or not? Something I feel is completely harmless turns out to hurt other people.

Just curious...

I think that's it, I guess what seems harmless to me tend to hurt others.

That's the thing, most people around me are cool my sagg has a mer in Scorpio and has been knowing me for almost two years but he says now some things I say he can't ignore.

i have a merc in scorpio conjunct uranus. i do think b4 i say something that may be perceived hurtful, BUT if i feel slighted than i dont really give a fuck how the other person takes what i say. what i say is meant to be shocking and not hurtful. but after i say something that may be hurtful, i look at the person and i feel their emotions. i apologize on the spot.

i have had relations with a few merc in saggis. the sag has it and he controls his mouth well. the things that come out of his mouth arent to hurt me but to help me. plus i know his motives and how he feels about me.

now, the scorp has a merc in sagg and honestly, the shit that comes out of his mouth is meant to hurt people who have in some way hurt him. hes done it to me and hes done it to other people. when he does it to me, he knows what hes saying. when he does it to other people, i know that they have had relations in the past and he digs at girls to get back at them. this one girl, he started talking about how she used to look good but now weighs almost 300lbs..right in front of people. i felt so bad for her. i wanted to slap him.

not to bring this back to you being a scorpio, BUT i can always tell when a scorpio is happy with their lives. they dont berate people. its the scorpios who are unhappy who cut people up. as a merc in scorpio, im subjective. i study a person when they choose to diss people, i can almost see the person's past and why they say the things they say.

sometimes, merc in sag just doesnt realize what they say is hurtful till u tell them.

Very good points, DMV I will be the first to admit when I am wrong also once I hurt someone by my words and they tell me it was hurtful I will immediately apologize. Also you are right when about being unhappy when I say those thing to him it's something he said to make me unhappy, but even though I know he is not making me unhappy on purpose it just feels like it then I strike.

scorpios are peculiar people. their cool until you sleep with them. after you sleep with them, all bets are off. its a hard to say really for the ones i havent slept with.

My moon is in Sagittarius and I suffer from FIMS all the time. It gets worse when I'm nervous and angry. It took my boyfriend, a Scorpio sun/Leo moon native, a bit of time to get used to me but I'm also trying to work tact.

yup I have that problem I swear Im gonna get fired at work everyday for my mouth! but at least everyone knows to stay away from me lol!
