Sag Venus

I have no idea what this means, but I've heard both really bad things about my Venus being in Sag and a couple of good. I figure this is the best place to ask. What does it mean to have a Venus in Sagittarius? I also have a Scorpio sun, Taurus moon, and a Virgo rising. Not sure if it matters. I'm mainly concerned about what it means to have Sagittarius in Venus in general.

My girlfriend says I'm really funny too. I wonder if that's a trait of Sag in Venus. Have you noticed any negatives that come out of the sign?

Well, it's not what I've read, it's what I've been told when I asked people in person about it. I've heard we're cheaters, we're into really freaky stuff. Like... horrible fetishes. I've heard we're the ones that break peoples hearts blah blah. The only good I've heard is that we get a lot of partners. That's pretty much it.

I can relate to some of this. It's strange because I seek a marriage type relationship, but I do tend to get bored quickly.
